The next morning, I got a ride with Elena and Bonnie to school. I had an idea that defied logic but I hoped would work to stop my cravings. Well...Stefan had an idea and I'm hoping it worked.

He wanted me to be around as many people as I could all of the time so that I can suppress the blood lust. It doesn't make sense to start off by being around a lot of people, but sometimes you just have to dive into the deep end instead of slowly walking in the shallows.

"I'm not saying don't date the guy, I'm just saying take it slow," Bonnie spoke as we got out of the car.

"But you are the one who said to go for it." Elena almost whined whilst laughing.

"Yeah Bon, I do have to agree with Elena here," I added as Bonnie raised an eyebrow.

"Really Ali? Since he's got here you've done nothing but glare at him." Bonnie spoke whilst smiling.

"Well, I'm just being the intimidating friend, making sure he's good enough for my friends," I say and mentally high fives myself at my good excuse. We carried on half-heartedly debating against Bonnie that Elena should go for it until Bonnie seemed to be getting annoyed by the subject.

"Bonnie, spit it out." Elena held onto her arm whilst chuckling so that she wouldn't move until she told us what was bothering her.

"I accidentally touched Stefan and I got a really bad feeling." She spoke whilst flicking her eyes between Elena and me, she really was starting to act like Emily.

"Is that it?" Elena joked as Bonnie tried to stomp off in a huff, I put my hands in my pockets and made a mental note not to touch Bonnie. Just in case she sees anything she isn't supposed to. "Bonnie."

"It was bad bad." She pressed on.

"Is this the whole witch mojo thing again?" Elena asked and I nodded to say that I thought so too.

"I'm just concerned, this is me expressing concern about my best friend's new boyfriend," Bonnie replied brushing off the whole question about witches.

"I love you for it, I really do! But this feels right and good!" Elena smiled at Bonnie as she said it. She had no idea of what Stefan was, how bad he could get. She had no idea that she looks exactly like Katherine and I felt bad for her. She probably was just a rebound for Stefan.
"It's been a hard year, and I feel like things are starting to get back to normal again. Stefan is a big part of that."

Elena's words made me smile, she was falling for my brother. I just don't know if it will work out, she'll end up knowing his secret eventually.

Although judging by Bonnie's origins, it looks like we all may have some secrets.

Stefan walked up to us and I smiled at him, he nodded back before looking at Elena.

"Morning Elena." He smiled before turning to Bonnie and I. "Bonnie, Ali." He nodded before Bonnie looked at me.

"Hey um I've gotta find Caroline, she's not answering her phone so see you guys later." She spoke before walking off, suddenly I felt like the biggest third wheel ever so I awkwardly glanced around.

"I'm uh going to go with her." I smiled before walking swiftly to catch up with Bonnie, behind me I could hear Elena calling both of us.
