Aliona's P.O.V

We walked around the white halls in silence towards Vicki's room, the entire time I was keeping an eye out for Stefan but so far there was no sign of him. We got to her room and walked inside to find the bed empty, we both froze and looked at each other. I turned around to find a nurse and as I did Vicki stood right behind us both making me jump slightly.

"Woah Vicki," I spoke as she stared into space, she was awfully pale and had a massive bandage covering the side of her neck.

"Vicki, hey," Matt spoke softly to her but she didn't even look up. "Vicki it's Matt, what's wrong?" He asked and put a hand on each of her shoulders.

She began to rapidly scream and thrash about in Matt's arms, so I tried to help restrain her from running off anywhere. Her cries were deafening to hear and I winced when her nail got caught in my hair. Matt signaled for me to let go and stay with her, so I did as he bolted out of the room to get a nurse. Suddenly, within a second Stefan sped into the room and stood in front of Vicki.

"It was an animal that attacked you, it came out of the night and jumped you. You blacked out and that's all you remember." Stefan compelled her as I continued to glare at him, if he hadn't have come back then this mess wouldn't have happened. As quickly as he arrived, he sped out of the room and left me with Vicki who was now calmly asleep on the bed. My chest rose and fell as I tried to keep a lid on my anger, I hated the way that they could manipulate everything. Matt rushed in with a nurse as I struggled to find an excuse. 

"She seems fine." The nurse spoke whilst looking at her, Matt seemed to be looking at someone outside of the doorway. I followed his gaze just in time to see Stefan round a corner, Matt followed after him at a fast pace.

"Matt what are you doing? You should stay with her." I called loudly from behind him when he didn't reply I easily caught up and followed him down the halls. Stefan was straight ahead and rounded a corner into a room, we both followed closely behind.

The second I entered the room, it hit me. The smell and sight of the blood everywhere made me indescribably hungry. Matt walked in with no problem as I struggled to contain the urge to lunge for the nearest person, he stalked up to a closed curtain and forcefully opened it to reveal nothing but an open window behind it. We looked out of it, but there was nobody outside. Stefan was long gone by now. I needed to be as well, not knowing if I could stand another second in the room.

Thankfully I got a text from Elena telling me to meet her at the grill, I told Matt that I had to go and he said he'd stay with Vicki for a bit longer.

"I spoke to Grams and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom," Bonnie stated making me laugh slightly, we were sat outside of the grill as the sun was beginning to descend in the sky. "Last time it passed over Mystic Falls there was lots of death. So much carnage that it created a bed of paranormal activity."

Bonnie was starting to scare me, she was definitely on to the supernatural origins of the town. I'd have to be careful in case she decided to start researching it properly and finds out what I am.

"Yeah and then you poured Grams another shot, and she told you about the aliens." Caroline mocked making me chuckle. If only she knew, I don't think she'd mock the supernatural then. "So then what?" Caroline turned her attention back to Elena making me sigh. Back to Stefan talk.

"So then nothing," Elena exclaimed obviously trying to dodge Care's nosy questions.

"So you and Stefan talked all night, there was no sloppy first kiss or touchy-feely of any kind?" Caroline asked making me cringe, this was my brother they were talking about, after all.
