Aliona's P.O.V

I woke up slowly, my head lulling to the side as I groaned in pain. The burning sensation in my neck felt like it was on fire, in my peripheral vision I could see small wooden sticks protruding from my neck in a circle around me.

"Morning sunshines." A voice spoke which caused me to look up, groaning when I saw the man that had used vervain to drug me. I glanced down at the floor and gasped, Rick lay lifeless. His icy eyes glazed over as blood dried around the wound in his gut.

"I saw this in a movie once, some torture-porn flick." The guy laughed as I glanced to the side, seeing Damon also regaining consciousness.

"Don't touch her." He managed to speak out painfully, each word taking a toll on him.

"Shut up!" He shouted at Damon before carrying on what he was saying. "In the movie they had this cool collar device, anyway I just modified it with some wooden nails and when I pull these chains..." The guy did as he said as the wood moved around and cut deeper into our necks, causing us both to cry out in agony.

"So I hear you have the moonstone." Jules voice spoke as she walked into the room, I rolled my eyes but frowned. We did?

"Oh if you only knew the irony of this moment right now." Damon laughed but I continued to frown, not understanding what he meant.

"Wait I'm confused." I spoke up. "Time out okay, what does this stupid moonstone do that makes everyone want it?" I asked in confusion.

"It's a key to breaking the curse so that werewolves don't have to turn every full moon if they don't want to." Jules spoke as I groaned. "It also means vampires aren't affected by the sun."

"Oh, that's cool." I smiled, trying to confuse them so they'd just let me go. "By the way I have no clue where this thing is." I spoke with a smile as the guy pulled on the chain again, causing me to yelp in pain.

"Let me tell you how this is going to go; you're gunna torture me and I'm not gunna talk, them someone's going to loose a heart, last time it was your boy Mason." Damon spoke hoarsely.

"This time it's gunna be you." Jules spoke as she neared us, I glared at her in anger as she smiled. "You know what the great thing about a buckshot is? It scatters. Maximum damage." She smirked before picking up a gun and aiming it at us. "Where's the moonstone?" Jules asked again.

"Get over it honey." Damon smirked. "You're never gunna get it." Jules was just about to shoot when a voiced stopped her.

"Looking for this?" Elijah spoke from the doorway, in his hand he held a milky translucent stone no bigger than a hockey puck. He walked forwards slowly before setting it down on a table and shrugged. "Go ahead, take it."

One of Jules' men ran forwards but didn't get very far as Elijah barely moved and ripped out his heart, I was breathing hard as I sat and watched the many men advanced onto him. Knowing there was nothing I could do to help.

"What about you sweetheart?" He turned to the guy who held the chains that were attached to Damon and I. "Wanna take a shot? Yes? No?" The guy looked terrified as he shook in Elijah's grip. "Where's the girl?" He asked as I looked around but Jules had gone.

"I dunno." I breathed out as Elijah looked at me for a second before shrugging.

"It doesn't really matter." He murmured before turning back to the guy in his grip, punching him so hard his neck snapped and dropping his limp body to the ground. Elijah turned back to us and began to break the chains, starting with mine as I bit my lip in pain as it tugged slightly on the wood that was still stuck in my neck. "So you realise this is the third time now? That I've saved your life." Elijah spoke to Damon who grimaced.

As soon as both of us were no longer tied down, Elijah turned without saying another word and walked out of the room, grabbing the moonstone on the way out.

"You'd think for an 'honourable man' he'd clean up his mess." I grumbled, looking at all of the dead bodies on the floor that I'd have to clear up. Soon enough both of us had successfully and painfully wriggled out of the wood collar thing and began to clear up the room when Damon's phone began to ring.

"So he planned to kill her all along?" Damon spoke angrily as Bonnie explained how she'd used magic on Elijah's witch to get answers out of him.

"Yep, the sacrifice is all part of Elijah's plan." Bonnie sighed, Damon hung up. Angry that Elijah was going to kill Elena either way.

Rick suddenly let out a loud groan from the floor as I gasped.

"Oh my god what the hell?" I exclaimed in confusion as he sat up and shook his head.

"Gilbert ring, it won't let me die." Alaric sighed and rose to his feet.

"You missed all the fun." Damon spoke as I raised an eyebrow.

"I wouldn't call it that." I muttered as Damon rolled his eyes but ignored me. Rick took out his phone and swiftly dialled Jenna's number, leaving the room to try and make up an excuse as to why he wasn't there tonight. "Well...I'm going to bed." I announced and stood up, walking to my room and closing the door.

---

"Get up sleepy head, you're helping me host a dinner party in...3 hours." Damon smirked as he walked into my room and spoke loudly. "Why do you always sleep?"

"Because I like sleep." I grumbled and slowly rolled off the bed. "What are you talking about?"

"Tonight we are hosting a dinner party dear sister, and tonight I am killing Elijah."
