Aliona's P.O.V
We trekked through the dense forest surrounding the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Ray had told Klaus where the pack gathered before Klaus began to turn him. Currently I was the one that was carrying the heavy weight of Dead-Ray over my shoulders, an annoyed mood settling over me as Klaus strolled at my side.
"You okay? Need to take a break? Maybe have some water or bl-"
"If we're going 'exploring' for a werewolf pack, let's cut the chit-chat okay." I sighed, feeling the hunger gnawing at me.
"Self loathing is suffocating you Ali." Klaus sighed.
"Well maybe it's because we've been hunting werewolves all summer." I groaned, rolling my eyes at Klaus' scoff.
"And thanks to our friend Ray, we've found ourselves a pack." Klaus muttered as we emerged from the trees into a small clearing, multiple tents were distributed as people milled around busily. Somehow we'd stumbled upon an entire werewolf community.
People were beginning to look up from what they were doing as we approached, the majority of eyes on the dead-Ray I carried on my back. We made it to the central area of the small community, everybody seemed to have gathered to see what the disruption was all about.
"Ray!" A woman shouted as I dropped him to the floor carelessly, she checked him over, panicking as she realised he was dead. "Who are you?" She asked, looking up at me.
"The more important question is who am I." Klaus stepped forwards, "Apologies for the disturbance. I'm Klaus."
"You're the hybrid." The woman breathed out, news seemed to travel fast around the werewolves.
"You've heard of me," Klaus smirked. "Fantastic."
We waited around for a while, anticipation seemed to be running high in the pack. Everybody was anxiously awaiting to see if Ray would come back to be in transition.
Suddenly his lifeless body took a deep breath in, his eyes shot open as his body turned to face us.
"Excellent timing Ray, and very dramatic." Klaus smirked, members of the pack looked astonished at what they were witnessing.
"What's happening to me?" He groaned, breathing heavily.
"Ali?" Klaus turned to me in a gesture to get me to explain it.
"Is anybody here human?" I asked, clearing my throat and looking round. "Your friend here needs human blood to complete his transition to become a vampire."
"Doesn't take much, just a sip." Klaus added as nobody had come forward. He turned to face the man on his left and raised an eyebrow. "You?" He asked before racing forwards and grabbing his arm, biting into him before throwing him towards Ray.
"No!" A woman cried, Klaus grabbed her to stop her interfering as I held the wound by Ray.
"If you don't drink it, then I will, and I don't know how to stop." I spoke to him, breathing just as heavy as the hunger took over. I could feel the veins under my eyes throbbing as my teeth elongated.
Ray glanced at the body in my hands before diving in and drinking the blood, I turned to look at Klaus who was feeding the woman his blood before snapping her neck.
Soon enough we were walking around a clearing full of dead bodies, each one only minutes away from waking up to become a vampire. Ray moved away from the body as he sat on a log, he was shaking pretty badly and sobbing slightly.
"They're a-all dead." He whispered, looking round in shock.
"They won't be soon enough, you should start to feel better soon too." Klaus shrugged nonchalantly.
