Stepping on the ground Lila senses a familiar presence. She whips around to see Dark Link staring right at her with an eerie smile.
"You gave me quite the beating Lila," he smirked.
"Why?" Lila asked, "why do you side with Ganondorf?"
"Side? Lila, you know me, I'm only trying to get stronger," Dark Link answered.
"I remember, but you said you're trying to grow stronger to protect your friends," Lila recalls sadly.
Dark Link stares into Lila's eyes angrily with his red eyes. Taking a step towards Lila he chuckled, "friends? Really Lila, you should know you were my ONLY FRIEND!"
Lila takes a step towards Dark Link and places her hand on his shoulder, "I know."
Dark Link grasps Lila's hand and holds it in both of his, "then you know what I have to do."
"Yes," Lila smiled, tears forming in her eyes, "I understand."
Smiling Dark Link releases Lila's hand. Then he grabs her shoulders and thrusts her into his arms. Lila smiles and the tears fall as she clamps her arms around him and places her head on his shoulder. After Lila sobs for a few minutes they release each other.
"Good luck," Lila sniffs and she wipes tears and tear trails from her face.
"You too," Dark Link smirks, then teleports in a flurry of black pixels.
Smiling and still sad Lila walks up the stairs and into her guard position in front of the Shadow Temple, her temple.
