He calmly opened the door and sat down by Luigi who had been severly burned.
"Hiya Link! What brings you a-here?" Luigi wondered, "you look-a okay to me."
"It's Navi, she's been paralyzed, by the way, what happened to you?" Link asked.
"Oh, Bowser went on a rampage while Mario and Peach are on vacation," Luigi sighed.
"Yeah, Bowser can be a hassle," Link agreed.
"Luigi, the doctor will see you now," Rosalina, the resceptionist, called.
Luigi got up and walked into the doctor's office, leaving a small trail of ash behind him.
".... Well, I'm offically bored," Link sighed and placed his head in his hands.
A little while later, Luigi came out as good as new and left the clinic happily.
"Link Dr. Mario will see you and Navi now," Rosalina called.
Link took a deep breath and stood up then walked into the office.
"So, who am I gonna inspect-a today?" Dr. Mario asked without looking up from his clipboard.
"Navi has been paralyzed by some unknown force," Link said, "I have no idea what though."
"Mmmm... odd, let me-a see her please," Dr. Mario calmly said, "oh my..... she's at the end of-a her lifespan."
"WHAT?!?!?!" Link's voice rose with surprise.
"Her body, I-a mean, her soul could-a be-a transferred, but only an alchemist can-a do it," Dr. Mario explains, "I could have my assistant Alphonse to do it."
"Yes! Sure! Anything! Just save Navi please!" Link demanded as his voice started to crack.
"Okay, okay, don't-a hurt yourself, he'll-a be free tomorrow, so I'll-a keep her until-a then," Dr. Mario explained to Link as he patted his shoulder.
"....Sounds good, Navi, I'll miss you," Link smiled as tears weld up in his eyes.
"G... goodbye Link," Navi smiled, "see you tomorrow."
Link could barely manage, "Yeah," as he walked out of the clinic, leaving his friend behind.
On his way out he bumped into a guy with short, dirty-blonde hair and yellow eyes.
"Oh, sorry," they both gasp.
"It's okay," the mysterious man smiles.
"Good, same here," Link smiled back, trying to hold in his sadness.
Then the two continued on their paths, unkowning that they'll encounter each other tomorrow.
