Holland and I spent the next day at the skate park since it was really hot and no one seemed to be there it was the night of his date with Kim but he didn't seem to be worried so I didn't bring it up. He skated down the ramp holding out the go pro taking a video while I sat hanging my feet on the ramp and checked my phone for the fourth time in a minute
Leslie- can't wait for tonight! Where are we going?
I didn't even remember I was going out tonight too, I've never been on a 'date' before but ever since the kiss I knew I couldn't get someone as great as Kat so I tried my luck on a nice girl I've known for a while.
I won't lie, by telling Kat I was hoping for a better reaction then her basically ending our friendship.

Oh yeah, Leslie. I don't even know where to take her really, maybe the movies it's a better chance of not needing to say anything and popcorns cheap.
"I should probably go get ready for tonight" Holland said holding his board
"Yeah, let's go. I have a date tonight also"

"Yeah I guess, she's smart and my parents like her"

"Sure yeah, I mean I like anyone who likes me back" I laughed as we rod side by side on the sidewalk
"Dude don't do that, your cool lots of people like you"
"You have to say that your my bestfriend" I laughed looking to the beach. I had to double take for a second when I saw two girls on those water board things .
"Dude" I said stopping as holland stopped too. I got out my phone and put it on photo zooming up to see Kat and Kim
