"Trevor you don't need to know who killed him" I say, taking his hand in my own.

He continues to stare into Gabriel's eyes as if speaking to each other through their minds.

"You don't need that in your life right now." I continue. "You know what will happen if he does tell you and I don't want that. You don't want that, I know you don't."

He doesn't reply to me

"Trevor, you have to listen to me. Look at me or something, baby. Don't-"

"Shut the fuck up!" He snaps at me, looking down at me. "Go upstairs and stay there until I tell you otherwise."

"But-"

"Go!"

I remove my hand from his and blink back tears.

I turn to go right when I hear Trevor say,

"Tell me everything you know."

I don't wait around to hear anymore. I just go up to his room and lean against the now closed door.

Ten minutes into just standing there, something catches my eye.

A red string coming from the side of the wall that's a mirror, gains my attention.

I walk over to it and try to find where it is coming from. I see that it is attached to something behind the mirror,

I tug slightly on the red string and my eyes widen when the mirror so easily swings out, as if it is meant to do that.

I find that it really is meant to swing out.

Behind the mirror is a big picture of Trevor's father. One end of the red strings are attached to the picture and the other end leads to another picture of someone I don't know with a name underneath it

There has to be about sixty or seventy pieces of string coming from his fathers picture.

I've seen things like this before on crime shows on tv and in movies.

I realize quickly that all of the people who are attached to the other end of the string is in some way involved in Trevor's fathers life.

It's so organized and neat. So polished. Nothing is out of place or astray. This was done recently.

Trevor has been trying to find his fathers killer just as much as the police have been.

That explains all of the beer bottles and cigarettes. Trevor must have been up for days putting this all together, trying to find his fathers killer.

TREVOR'S POV

"You know dad had many people who cared for him." My brother Gabriel says. "People worked for him. They did what he asked without hesitation and without question."

I nod. "Yeah I know he did."

"A man with so much power doesn't breeze through life without any enimies." He states. "There are people who hate him. There are people who hate him enough to kill him."
