Trinity's POV
(Seven Months One Day)

"Oh my gosh it all makes sense now!" Clarke exclaimed, smiling as she looked at me.

I had just finished explaining the story of what had happened yesterday and who Haiden was. That was when she decided to "put the pieces together" that didn't even exist and say I had feelings for him.

Maybe a little but I wasn't going to tell her that. He would never know either.

"Clarke it's not going to happen." I said sternly. "You heard him."

"I know, it's just it makes sense, you snuck down to not only help a guy but a good looking one at that." I rolled my eyes as stood up from the table and went to her fridge.

"Nice try." I replied as I flashed her a smirk before grabbing the water pitcher from the fridge.

"Come on, you guys are-" I narrowed my eyes. "-We're obviously close." I nodded as I closed the fridge and walked over to my chair. I set the pitcher onto the table. "He was hurt by whatever happened, not that I'm saying you did anything wrong, but the way he acted showed something was happening there." She looked around before she leaned closer to me. "You could hear it in his voice." She whispered.

I laughed as I rolled my eyes and sat down across from her. I picked the pitcher back up and filled both of our glasses. Water droplets clung to the pitcher while some rolled down the sides of the pitcher. I let my eyes fall over them as Clarke groaned.

"Come on Trin. You have to at least know what I'm talking about." I sighed as I took my pointer finger and traced circular patterns into the table.

"I know Clarke." I whispered.

She sighed as she shook her head. "Come on, you have to get out for a little while. Why don't we go for a walk or something?" I shook my head. "Come on, we're going." She said as she jumped up from her chair.

She grabbed the water and slid it forcefully back into the fridge before she slammed the door shut. She ran over to me and grabbed my arm, dragging me out of the chair and out the door.

"Alright, alright." I laughed. She nodded firmly.

"If you try to escape-" she warned.

I just laughed and shook my head "Don't worry I won't." She smiled at me and let go of my arm.

"Where do you want to go?" She asked.

I knew where I wanted to go. I waned to go somewhere where I could see the world, feel free. I smiled as I looked at her. "The observation deck."

"Thank god, that's where I was going to take you." She smiled back at me and we were on our way.

We went up, quickly walking into the room. Our feet seemed to barely touch the floor we were so anxious to get there.

We both went over and stood by the full wall Windows. I smoked as I looked at the stars. Some glittered and sparkles, others ran through the sky far distances away.

Space looked so beautiful and amazing from up here.

But from where we stood Earth looked before the horizon. I took a step to my right, away from Clarke and closer to this Windows edge.

I looked down at the huge planet. The blues and greens with splashes of white, it looked like one of Clarkes paintings in the works.

I wonder what space looked like from the ground with all its rivers and mountains, it's sunsets and sunrises. All the animals and flora and all of its beauty.

I pressed my hand to the glass, the the pressure of the endless emptiness of cold outside seeped through and touched my skin. But no matter how cold, I let my hand stay there.

If only I could reach earth, I could step foot on the planet and see everything we learned about. See what still stood standing of any of those historical structures, so beautiful and delicate yet most now rubble.

So much history was there, I just wanted to see it, feel it. Feel the emotions, the romance of the scenery, the appeal of everything.

"Think about how much is down there to paint." I heard Clarke, who had moved next to me to be able to see earth as well.

"It's probably still beautiful down there." I whispered.

I saw her nod from the corner of my eye. Neither of us wanted to look at the sight to behold set in front of our very eyes.

"I bet it is, after all this time I know whatever was destroyed came back." She whispered. It was as if she was afraid she would break the connection that this sight had on us.

"Fires destroyed it, earthquakes, tsunamis, meteors, and yet it still fixed it self up every time." She nodded.

We stood there the rest of the time in silence, soaking everything in around us. The colors, the feelings, the stars.

It was as if I held the whole world in the palm of my hand and yet I still felt alone.

I wanted to share it with Haiden. I wanted us to be friends again. I wanted the world to feel warm unlike the cold of outer space.

I wanted to live.
