Haiden's POV
(2 Years Nine Months Twenty Three Days)

After connecting with the kids on earth people prepared to send people to earth. Only the leaders and some of the guards knew and that's how they wanted to keep it until the time got closer.

But something was wrong. Air was dropping rapidly and the drop ships only fit seven hundred of the people onboard the ark while there were over two thousand people on board.

And suddenly the plans got pushed ahead. People were being forced to move their departure time ahead and things were being rushed. I wasn't told, neither were most of the guards I worked with and if they were told they were sworn to secrecy.

Tonight we were loading the drop ships, the supplies had already been loaded and everyone was on edge. I could feel my hands shaking as I walked around the hallways and kept an eye on things.

I held onto my gun a little tighter and pulled it closer to my best. I took slow and deep breathes. My breathing shook but other than that it was okay.

This was the first big assignment I had done without Bellamy. It's been over a month without him, almost two. I was so used to him making stupid jokes as we walked around and nudged me, elbowed me and just straight up messed around with me.

"God I miss you you asshole." I mumbled as I walked around the corner.

I heard yelling and screaming coming from further down the halls. Then I heard what they were saying, "How could you do this to us?"
"Why would you let them die?"

My hands shook even more as I heard my radio go off. I reached over and hit the button. "Sorry sir, I missed that."

"Get over to the closest drop ship. We need you to keep the crowds back when they get here."

"I'm on it sir." I gulped as I released the button. Turning away from the noise I jogged toward the drop ship. My feet stopped when I got to the drop ship. There were guards everywhere surrounding the drop ship, every entrance and pathway there were at least three guards.

"Haiden over here!" I looked over and saw a young guard who I had been in training with. I looked around before I quickly jogged my way over to him.

"Am I over here?"

Officer Malcolm Mitchell nodded. "Yeah. We have to watch the Phoenicia sector and make sure that people coming from here don't get crazy. They shouldn't cause we'll be loading them on first but who knows."

He shrugged as he turned and looked down the long and empty corridor. Another officer I did not know stood on the other side of the wall, not saying a word.

We had brought the people from the Phoenicia sector down the hallway towards the drop ship. One by one we loaded some on and brought them to their seats.

I looked down the hallway and saw the Tanners. Mrs.Tanner smiled and waved. Mr.Tanner nodded and so did Aaron and Maxwell. I let a small smile grace my lips as I nodded my head back.

After that was when the caos started.

People ran forward from the hallway I had come from and jumped at the guards. Shots were fired as guns landed on the flood or guards were afraid to be attacked next. Some people were able to get through and push towards the drop ship.
