Haiden's POV
(Ten Months Two Day)

I let the door slid closed behind me as I walked in. Taking off my shoes I then turned and threw them at the closest wall.

They banged loudly before hitting hard against the floor.

I ran a hand through my hair as I began to pace back and forth. My breath ragged and my heart beating fast.

I wanted to do something. I wanted to protect her.

But she told me not to.

The realization that she had been caught and she would most likely die for it hit me.

Slowly I back up until my back came in contact with the cold metal. Then slowly I slid down to the ground. I put my head in my hands as I looked down.

I love her.

I didn't want to loser her too.

Suddenly I remembered I had a piece of her here. Her jewelry. My head shot up as I looked towards my room.

Her jewelry.

I jumped up from the floor and went running down the tiny space to my room.

I almost ran into the door I was so filled with anticipation and I went over to my drawers.

I ripped opened my sock drawer and pushed socks aside. Some fell out of the drawer and flopped silently down and onto the floor. Finally I saw the glimmer of metal against the harsh lights.

There it was.

She had given me a piece of jewelry that hung on an old and battered chain.

So I turned the chain in and had them touch up the small crescent moon. It took a bit but I then bought a new chain, sturdier then the last.

I held onto it tightly in my fist.

I'd see her again. And I'd give this to her.

One day.
