Trinity's POV
(Seven Months Thirteen Days)
I rubbed my eyes as I walked down the corridors quickly, weaving my way in and out of people coming and going. School had ended and I wanted to get to Haiden as quickly as I possibly could.
I continued to weaved my way in and out of everyone. I held by bag close to my side as I walked. I didn't want to hit someone with it and they would flip out at me, I didn't have the time.
Suddenly behind me I heard someone yelling "Trin!" I ignored it and continued to keep pushing forward.
"Trin wait up!" I sigh and I stepped over to the side of the hallway. I turned and saw Clarke, her hair pulled back into her right bun today.
I sighed as she stopped in front of me. I let her catch her breath before I started to make my way down the hall again. "What do you need Clarke?" I asked.
To be honest, I couldn't quite remember why I was angry with her but I knew I was and I was going to keep this up a little longer.
That way I wouldn't have to make up stupid excuses to get away from her to go and see Haiden. She probably already knew but who cares.
"I wanted to apologize." I didn't answer and continued to look forward. "Please, just hear me out." She begged.
I stopped and looked over at her. "Fine, go ahead. Talk fast because I have to be somewhere." I looked back down the corridor toward where Haiden was resting.
Her eyes widened before she sighed. "Look, I know I shouldn't have said that. I know that since everything happened -" she took a deep breathe as she looked down. "I'm really really sorry. Please forgive me." She begged.
I sighed. "I will it's just, not right now." I looked won the hall and bit my lip as I gripped the strap of my bag. "I really have to go."
She nodded. "I know you have to go see him." She smiled a sad smile. "I know he'll get better."
My eyes became teary and I jumped forward and wrapped my arms around her. "Thank you Clarke." My voice broke slightly.
She laughed a sad one and hugged me back. "Get going. And take your time." She pulled back and smiled before I ran down the hallway.
I turned and waved slowly back at her, she stood in the same spot as I had left her. She waved back before she turned and headed in the opposite direction of me.
I walked into the med-bay and smiled at Mrs.Griffen as she looked at me, sad that I was wasting my time here. I kept walking.
I went to Haiden's room and pulled back the curtain. There was a guy sitting there, we both jumped as we made eye contact.
He was sitting next to Haidens bed, his arms were on his knees. He was probably holding his head in his hands before I walked in.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you." I apologized. "I can leave and come back later if you want." He shook his head as he looked at me.
His chocolate brown eyes seemed kind but like they had seen so much pain. "I don't mind." A small smile spread across his face. "You just caught me off guard."
