Haiden's POV
(2 Years Nine Months Thirty Days)

"She wants to see him."

"The man who was never around she wants to see?" I yelled as I narrowed my eyes at Aaron.

"I don't agree with it either but she lost her two biological parents. Her father is all she has left and he saw her go through the loss of her mother. He'll know what to do." I let out a sigh as I ran my hand through my hair.

Aaron was right of course. But that didn't mean I disliked it any less.

"Fine. Let's go get him." Aaron nodded as he followed me into the ark.

"Where's your sling?" Aaron asked as he stood next to me.

"I took it off so I could run faster to Trinity." I replied with a small shrug. My arm was still killing me and after talking to Bellamy I was going to see Dr.Griffen to check my stitches but then Aaron showed up.

Obviously this was more important that my arm.

"You know you have some blood on your shirt." Aaron replied as we rounded a corner. "I think you should see Dr.Griffin."

"I can later. I need to be there for Trinity right now."

"You know she'll kill you if she finds out that was your excuse right?" He asked me as he raised his right eyebrow.

"I know she will."

"And that I know of her father is in the med bay isn't he?"

"He is."

"Then you better get those stitches checked while I talk to him and get a sling or I'll beat you for her." He threatened.

"Now I see where she gets her scariness from." I replied with a laugh.

Aaron however did not look at all happy. "Hilarious." He said dryly as we stopped outside of the med bay. "Get cleaned and checked or I will not allow you to leave."

"Yes sir!" I said with a kidding salute.

"I don't know how my sister likes you." He replied.

"Can we just blame this on the pain? I'm not usually like this."

"Fine. But if you're always like this I don't think I'd be able to let you even think of marrying my sister one day." He said as he pushed open the door and stepped inside.

"Wait! Does that mean I actually have a chance?"

I said a smile tug at Aaron's lips as he half turned to look at me. "Yes. Now don't push your luck." When he turned back around I saw his shoulders shake slightly and I smiled too.

He actually does like me. Sweet. I let out a small laugh as I went to see Dr.Griffin who was sitting at her desk.

"Yes Haiden?" She asked without even looking up from her papers.

"Can you check my stitches and maybe give me another sling?" I asked. She looked up from her paperwork and stepped around her desk.
