Trinity's POV
(Eight Months Two Days)

I flipped through paperwork, sorting it at the front desk. I hated to do this, categorizing people based on priority.

We should be seeing whoever comes first and whatever is most deadly. It shouldn't be based on what part of the ark that you belong to.

I would change that when I became a doctor. I had talked to Clarke about this before but I still didn't have a plan for attack.

I had to get used to this kinda work so that I could find a way to get rid of this system and how to work without it.

I sighed as continued filling out as much as I could. I had to check on Haiden in five minutes and I wanted to get as much done as I could by then.

He'd been getting better, vitals normal for his stature, better than normal, amazing! Other than his wound he couldn't have been in any better health than he already was.

I looked up at the clock and sighed as I finished the last paper I was working on, adding it to the other forms that had to be rejected.

I never knew that there was so many cases that they rejected. I knew there was a lot but never this many.

I looked up at the clock and slowly stood up. Time to check on Haiden. I smiled as I thought about it. He could be the biggest idiot for recovery but he was the best and first patient I've ever had.

He'd stopped doing his extensive workouts and he just started to walk around the med bay, I only let him for an hour and a half a day, Dr.Griffins orders.

I looked on the wall behind me and grabbed his clipboard before I walked through the doorway and over to his room.

I took a deep breath. Last patient of the day, you can do this and clean up and head home. Slowly, I pulled back the curtain before stepping inside. Haiden was lying on the bed and staring up at the ceiling. His hands were folded on his chest.

I looked at him skeptically as I walked over. I knew he could hear the sound of my shoes hitting the floor, but he didn't look at me. He only blinked as if transfixed by something.

I stopped next to the bed and looked up. I definitely didn't see anything up there.

I felt my eyebrows crease as I began to question what he was thinking about.
What had him so lost in thought?

I let out a small shriek as arms grabbed my waist. I dropped the clipboard with a clang and I was pulled back onto the bed and on top of Haidens chest.

"Haiden let me down, this isn't good for you." I whispered my face flushing.

It wasn't good for me either. I don't think my heart could take this.

"What? I couldn't hear you." I could hear the smirk in his voice as I felt my face hear up. God damn you.

"Let me down please." He shook his head and went to speak, I could feel him sucking in breathing, the air disappearing behind me. "Off your wound at least." I said, cutting him off.

He nodded and slowly I slid down on the opposite side of his wound and I let out a slow breath. "Haiden this is unprofessional." I warned.
