Haiden's POV
(2 Years Nine Months Two Days)

I stared at the screen, holding my breath as I waited for our signal to connect to theirs.

When the screen finally connected I saw Clarke on the screen. Her hair strewn with dirt and her eyes tired. Clarke filed us in on the wound that one of the delinquents was facing but the whole time her eyes were dropping.

She must've been working like crazy lately.

"Clarke you need to rest. Come on." Trinity walked onto the screen and grabbed Clarke by the shoulders. "Bell! Bring Clarke back to her tent she needs to rest!"

Trinity readjusted her grip as Bellamy came onto the screen and picked up Clarke, easily carrying her off.

"Now tell me what to do. I was in training. I might not have done much Mrs.Griffin but I did learn enough to know what you're referring to."

Dr.Griffen sighed as she ran her hand down her face. "Alright Trinity. But you need to listen carefully." Trinity nodded. She looked tired as well. Her eyes had slight bags under them but she didn't look as defeated as Clarke was.

Her hair had dirt in it as well, more even as it was pulled back into a ponytail. Her hands seemed rougher and even though she seemed tired her posture was still as perfect as it always was.

She was safe. She was healthy. And she was definitely alive.

I knocked on the door like I have been for the past couple weeks. Maxwell smiled at me as he opened up the door. He quickly ushered me inside before closing the door behind him.

"Sit down. I'll get Mom and Dad." He replied as he walked down the hallway.

I sat down on the opposite side of Aaron on the couch and leaned back. I let out a small sigh of relief I'd been holding in since I saw her this morning.

"Good news I hope." Aaron said as he looked at me.

I smiled. "The best news." He smiled back at me.

Mr. And Mrs. Tanner came down the hallway with Maxwell in front of him. Maxwell sat down in between Aaron and I on the couch and Mr.Tanner grabbed him and his wife a chair from the kitchen table, dragging them across the floor to sit across from us.

Mr. And Mrs. Tanner sat down and I smiled as I looked at everyone. "She's alive. And she's healthy."

Mrs.Tanner immediately started to cry tears of joy as Mr.Tanner smiled so big I was afraid his face would break. He leaned over and held on tightly to his wife.

Aaron and Maxwel high fives and cheered.

She, like the others, brought hope to everyone. Especially all of us. If they could get down there then they could all be together.

I remembered the necklace in my pocket.

And I could tell her how I feel after all these years.
