Trinity's POV
(Seven Months Ten Days)I looked around as I brought my glass to my lips, my eyes scanning the party. Music was being played on violins and chellos and other strong instruments.
I couldn't find the blonde hair in the crowd. I sighed as stood next to Maxwell and Aaron. Aaron was watching this peppy girl. Her hair was black and curly and bounced as she jumped around and swayed back and forth to the music.
"Who's that?" I asked Aaron as I swirled the water in my glass.
"Just some girl." He replied as he brought his own glass to his lips.
"It doesn't look like it." I replied. Maxwell nodded from his place beside me.
I brought my glass to my lips again and started to drink the last of my drink when suddenly she turned around. My water went down the wrong pipe and I began to cough.
Maxwell rubbed circles on my back, my eyes watered and Aaron laughed as he watched us. "What just happened?" Maxwell asked as he leaned forward to look into my eyes.
"She saw that girl over there." Aaron said as he nodded his head in her direction.
Maxwell looked over and looked back at me confused. I took a deep breath and carefully dabbed the tears away from my eyes.
"That girl. I saw her flirting with Aaron a couple of times and she did not look as nice as that!" I exclaimed quietly. "She had all this black stuff around her eyes!"
Aaron laughed, his eyes sparkling as he looked at me than back over at her. "Go talk to her you idiot." Maxwell joked as he slapped Aaron's arm.
Aaron glared down at him for a moment before he looked back up at her and smiled. "Please. For me." I begged as I looked at him pleadingly.
He shook his head and mumbled "fine" before he walked over to her. He tapped her shoulder and she spun around to look at him.
A smile lit up her entire face as she looked at him.
I smiled as I looked over at them. They were completely adorable.
Even if she did wear black stuff all around her eyes half the time.
Hopefully that was just a faze.
I looked around and as a waiter passed I set my empty glass on his tray before I grabbed a filled one. I quickly brought the glass to my lips, this drink didn't taste like water.
It tasted bubbly but it also tasted bitter, as if I were eating something that tasted of cardboard or wood.
I looked down as I swirled the glass slowly. It bubbled and fizzed. Champagne? Whatever, might as well drink it. Get my mind off a few things.
I shrugged my shoulders as I took another sip. I turned to look around the room again and this time I saw the blonde hair coming towards me.
I smiled.
I stood on my tiptoes and saw Clarke coming towards me with Wells hot on her heels.
"Hey Trin?" I turned to see Maxwell standing behind me, shifting back and forth from foot to foot.
"Yeah Maxwell?" I asked.
