Chapter 26

Trinity's POV
(Seven Months Seventeen Days)

I woke up to someone shaking my shoulders. I rubbed my eyes as I looked up. I jumped slightly when I saw Mrs.Griffen in front of me.

Why was I lying down?

Suddenly it all came back to me as if it were all a dream.

It was then that i felt the warmth of another person beside me. I gasped when I realized it was all real.

Mrs.Griffen placed a finger to her lips and shook her head. Be quiet she mouthed out as she nodded her head in the direction of a person, who I knew was Haiden.

"I'll be in the waiting room" she whispered before she left, closing he curtain, little noise was heard as she gingerly shut it behind her.

I slowly looked back at him.

My eyes widened at how close our faces were. When I was looking at him, our noises were only a nail width apart.

My heart began to beat against my ribcage and I began afraid that he would wake up at how loud it was.

I turned away from him and closed my eyes. I took a deep breathe to calm myself down.

Suddenly, his arms felt even more known around my waist and my heart began to race once again.

I squeezed my eyes shut and took a deep breath, letting my shoulders relax and my heart slowly calmed back down to where I couldn't feel it in my throat anymore.

I lazily peeled my eyelids open and mustered up my courage and turned around. This time I was able to look at his face instead of our faces in proximity.

I saw that he looked peaceful, more peaceful than he had been the past week.

I smiled in relief.

Than I realized that I had to untangle myself from his arms. My back was against his chiseled chest and he had both of his arms wrapped around my waist tightly. Our legs were tangled together, my left leg in between his and my right on top of his legs.

I took a deep breathe and went to move my arm when I realized that my right hand was also held done, my left one was free underneath my pillow though.

I pulled my arm slowly from underneath the pillow and went to pull my right arm free. I thew blanket off me and my eyes widened when I saw how my arm was pinned down.

The reason my arm was pinned down was because Haiden had his arm over mine, but his left arm which went around my waist, against the bed, had his hand clasped and intertwined with mine.

What the hell?

I went to slowly unclasp my hand from his and he squeezed my hand before slowly he left his hand fall from mine and back to my waist.

I let out a silent sigh of relief.

Than I moved to removing his arms. I slowly pulled his arms back from my waist. I did my best to keep his arms away and off of my as I slowly pushed myself up into a sitting position, but it was to be unproductive.
