I felt my tears poured down from my eyes as I felt the water flowed down my nakedness. I could not help but cry knowing how far I have become since that day when I surrendered my life to Jesus that even if it's hard to resist temptation, I am overcoming. Hindi madali, mahirap gawin, pero nakakaya. His grace is just overflowing, unrelenting, unfathomable.
Lucy has been very understanding and patient of me. Nakakatuwa lang na mahal niya ako kahit na sino pa ako, kahit na ano pa ang past ko. I have never felt that she judged me because of my past but rather, she just completely loves me. And our relationship is a journey of knowing each other and knowing more the Lord.
I turned off the shower, dried myself and wore a loose shirt and pants. Hindi naman talaga ako nagsusuot ng shorts pag-andito sa unit ko but since Lucy is here, I want to make her comfortable.
"Love, I'm done." I went to the living room and saw Lucy watching a replay of a soccer game which made me smile. My girl is also trying to know my world.
"Great! Pero pwede bang after 5 minutes. Maka-score lang yung mga naka green na jersey!" Parang nagmamakaawang sabi ni Lucy.
"Love, hindi makakascore diyan yung mga naka green, kasi yung naka red ang mananalo diyan. My team!"
"Wow! Ang lakas naman ng tiwala mo sa team mo! Eh kita namang mas magaling yung green eh." Binato niya sa akin yung throw pillow na hawak niya na agad ko namang nasalo.
"Love napanood ko na yan, that's a replay game, kaya believe me, our team will win." I sat beside Lucy and pinched her cheeks. Ang cute lang talaga niyang tingnan kasi eh.
"Ewan ko sa yo! Spoiler." Tumayo si Lucy para mag-walk out pero napigilan ko naman agad siya at niyakap sa likod. Her scent is just like no other. Medyo nag sway sway ako na para kaming sumasayaw.
"William."
"Let's just stay like this love. Dont worry, while at the restroom, nag devotion na ko kaya Im not thinking of doing anything beyond this embrace. Gusto ko lang na ganito tayo kalapit."
"Sira ka talaga!"
"Saka masama pa ng konti ang pakiramdam ko. Baka you wont like my performance." Natatawa kong sabi sa kanya.
"Ewan sa yo. Magpapalit na nga ako ng damit para naman maka move on na tayo sa topic na yan at makapag-usap ng ibang bigay! Nakakaloka kang bata ka!" This is what Lucy would always do, call me a child whenever she feels awkward about our situation and I find it adorable. Perhaps at the back of her mind, she is trying to remind herself that she is older than me, that she should act more rationale than me, more matured, more in everything, dahil nga mas matanda siya sa akin. I don't care. Okay lang if she treats me like a child from time to time, as long as I'd be her baby for a life time, ayos lang.
"Three minutes more love. Please?" I hugged her tighter at hindi na rin naman siya nag resist. I got my phone from my pocket and played Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star as we both swayed our bodies.
"Yan talaga ang kantang napili mo love?" May amusement sa boses ni Lucy pero patuloy lang din naman siya sa pag sway ng katawan niya.
"Oo. Para di tayo masyadong madala. Baka if I'd play romantic song kung saan pa mauwi ang sayaw na to."
We both laughed and danced and waited until the song ended before she went to check on the room where the clothes I bought are placed. For sure, magugulat siya. Naka-arrange kasi yung mga damit according to colors and brands. Medyo may pagka OC rin kasi ako minsan eh. Minsan lang naman.

Nagising akong hindi ko magalaw ang pareho kong mga binti at di napigilang mapangiti seeing Lucy sleeping on my lap. Sa ganitong posisyon pala kami nakatulog kanina. Nakaupo lang ako at nakasandal sa couch samantalang siya ay nakatulog sa lap ko yakap yakap yung throw pillow. Naiwan ding bukas ang TV sa Disney Channel at ngayon nga ay Disney princess ang naka feature. Mabuti na lang talaga na hindi lang sa cartoons pwedeng makakilala ng isang prinsesa at di ko na kailangan pang sumakay sa kabayo at hanapin siya dahil my princess is sleeping peacefully on my lap.
Natapos na kasi kanina yung soccer game na pinapanuod namin hanggang sa naisipan naming ilipat ang TV sa Disney Channel so Lucy can get a little inspiration from the shows. She plans to join an international photography contest na ang theme is 'Living Like a Child'. Malaking halaga rin ang premyo kung sakali which Lucy intends to donate to the orphanage.
"Love, gising na. Alas diyes na ng umaga." I checked on my phone and realized na pareho kaming late nagising. Patay talaga dahil nasa honeymoon ngayon si Aaron at ako ang Officer of the day pero heto ako at pinapanood lang si Lucy habang natutulog.
"Love Im still sleepy eh." She said in her really sleepy voice. Malamang pagod pa rin siya at kailangan talagang matulog. Gumalaw ng konti si Lucy at umikot at ngayon ay nakaharap na sa bandang tiyan ko. Medyo nakiliti ako nang maramdaman ko ang paghinga niya at nang mapadikit yung lips niya sa stomach ko but I set aside any other thoughts. Now is not the time to joke around. I know Lucy has a meeting with some clients after lunch and she can't be late. Baka pagalitan pa ko nito kapag nagkataon.
"Love, you need to wake up. Mrs. Rosales will be waiting for you right?"
Bahagyang minulat ni Lucy ang mga mata niya at nakita kong nagulat siya sa position niya, her arms are now wrapped around my stomach. Agad siyang napatayo at inayos ang gulo-gulo niyang buhok.
"That meeting is cancelled love."
"Huh? But why? Di ba malaking client si Mrs. Rosales? That's what you told me."
"She called kasi last night while I was driving and asked if we could meet at Starbucks. She wanted me to do an advanced presentation sa kanya but I begged off. Di naman kasi kita pwedeng iwan na lang."
"Oh. Im.. so.."
"No need to be sorry about William. I made my choice and I chose you."
"Love naman eh. Pwedeng hinay hinay lang. Baka atakihin ako sa puso sa yo niyan eh."
"Naku! Ang kulit mo talagang bata. I better prepare our late breakfast nang makapasok tayo pareho."
"Yeah, yeah and will be helping a friend later love ha, after work."
"Friend? Who Aaron?"
"Nope. Julius. Will need to help Julius."
"Julius?"
"Yep. Mukang nagpapagwapo sa asawa niya eh and he needs us to critique a marketing plan. Aaron will be there with his wife, bago ituloy ang honeymoon nila dahil napa-oo na din siya ni Julius. Julius' wife will be there too. Ako na nga lang na girlfriend pa lang ang isasama." Natatawa kong sabi sa kanya.
"Ganoon?"
"Yep."
"Eh di wag mo na lang akong isama kung ayaw mong girlfriend mo lang ang kasama mo." Nagwalk out si Lucy at di ko na siya sinundan pa. Alam ko namang di siya galit sa akin. Isa pa, aayusin ko na muna ang living room para pag-alis namin ni Lucy mamaya, maayos na ang lahat. Soon, sabay na kaming magluluto, maglilinis ng bahay, maglalaba, magpapakain sa mga anak namin. Soon. Really soon.
