Request - Drabble Killian Jones

"Killian!" You tried to get him to move, to get him to do something. You were in the freaking Underworld, for heaven's sake, and even when you hadn't seen Hades yet, the stories you heard about him were enough to make sure you never wanted to as well. Which... would be pretty hard if Killian was going to stay this apathic and refused to move.
"Come on. We came here to rescue you, and if there's anything you should have learned by now, it's that we're not giving up just because you think you're not worth it. We rescued Regina. If she's worth it, you are..."

"She didn't die. I did." It was the first time he had actually spoken to you since you were trying to get him out of here.

It might not be the reaction you were looking for, but it was one.
"So what? We didn't let a dark curse stop us. We portal jumped more often than I can count, and we're in the Underworld. We'll find a way out of this, you have to believe me! We always do."

Still... he didn't seem to get you. He seemed more broken by Hades than you thought Killian could ever be.
"I've had a good life, love. I've gotten to know you, but I have accepted it's over now. You should do the same."

You rolled your eyes. Where was the fighter you had fallen in love with?
"Why did I fall in love with you again?", you suddenly blurted out. "I don't know you like this, Killian, and that hurts me..."

That did get his attention. He looked up to you, still bloodied, still broken, still closer to giving up than to pushing through.
"Maybe that was another man..."

You kneeled next to you, trying to clean him up a bit.
"It wasn't. He just hadn't lost hope yet. And I'm not leaving you here without one shred of hope. I don't care what Hades says or does. I fell in love with you, and I'm not abandoning you now."

A faint smile played around his lips. "Still as stubborn as ever, love. I'll have a harder time resisting you than Hades, will I?"

You nodded.
"You bet."

"Then get me out of here, love... we have a way home to find."
