Request - Drabble Kai Parker

"Just ring the damn doorbell." Kai cocked his head and he moved his finger towards the bell next to your front door. He saw how his finger was trembling and a part of him wanted to turn around and walk away. "What's so hard about ringing a stupid bell?" He kept on talking out loud, while his head was filled with everything he was going to tell you.

"Kai?" You opened the door, wearing your jacket. You were just throwing your backpack over your shoulders and Kai felt how his cheeks heated up.

Seriously? Now he was blushing too? What the hell was wrong with him? What the hell was happening to him? He was Kai Parker! He was never confused. He was never nervous. He was not a stupid high schooler behaving like a love sick puppy.

"What are you doing here?" You cocked your head and smiled.

Kai felt his heart skipping a beat in his chest. How was that even possible? Weren't hearts supposed to beat in a steady rhythm? How could people even function when they felt like this? "I think I'm ill." Kai straightened his back and he took a few deep breaths.

"You're ill? What's wrong?" You quickly opened the door and invited Kai in.

"I don't know, but every time I think of you my heart starts acting weird. I couldn't even ring that stupid door bell. I'm even dreaming of you! Every night!" He raised his voice and he leaned on the table in your kitchen. "I can barely eat and now I'm standing here I feel warm and cold at the same time!" He looked up and saw how your lips curled up into a smile. "It's not funny! Stop smiling!" He shook his head. "I might be dying!"

You bit your lip, but eventually you started laughing. "I don't think you're dying." You shook your head and crossed your arms over your chest. "I think you're in love." You hesitated for a short moment. "With me."

Kai's eyes widened and he scratched the back of his neck. "Yes! That's what google said! But I'm Kai Parker! I don't fall in love! I don't even LIKE people!"

You cocked your head and shrugged your shoulders. "Well, I think you do now, congratulations."
