Your back was pressed to a tree. You opened your mouth, but no matter how hard you tried, you didn't manage to scream. Eventually you just closed your eyes and waited for what was coming. Maybe you would be killed by huge claws. Maybe the huge monster would use his sharp teeth to tear your throat apart.

"Step away from (Y/N), monster!"

You opened your eyes again when you heard her voice. A part of you was relieved that someone had come to rescue you. Another part of you was afraid that now the monster would kill her too. "Allison..." You whispered, but you weren't able to move.

"Don't worry, I've got this." Allison was carrying a huge bow. "Make sure you don't move." She smiled and then she started shooting arrows. One, three, ten.

You quickly lost count, but you saw how the monster tripped over his own feet and fell on the ground. "Is he dead now?" You still didn't dare to move, but Allison walked towards him as if nothing had happened.

"No, I used wolfsbane to weaken him. He'll wake up like his normal self tomorrow morning." She cocked her head a little and then she looked up at you again. "What are you doing here? It's a full moon. You should have been at home, in bed."

"I know." You bent your head and with slow and careful steps and an eye on the monster you walked towards her. "I couldn't sleep and I saw that you were gone and I thought..." You avoided her glance and Allison placed her hands on your cheeks before she kissed your lips.

"You thought I needed saving from big bad monsters?" She smiled a little. "I told you to stay at home. I told you that for a reason."

You kissed her back and wrapped your arms around her neck. "I know. But, which part of I love you don't you understand?" You smiled a little. "People do crazy things when they're in love."
