You were sipping your drink, staring at your friends on the dance floor. The music in the grill was played by a live band you had never heard of and Kai's arm was wrapped around your shoulders.

"I don't get how people can stand the music these days." Kai had not done anything but complaining. He had complained about the food. He had complained about the company. He had complained about the music. It was a miracle that he had not yet complained about you.

"Why did I fall in love with you again?" You sighed and you pushed his arm away while you turned your face to look at him. "Because all I hear is negativity, complaining and you being an asshole." You rolled your eyes and you saw how Kai looked shocked for a moment.

"It must be because of my charming nature." He shrugged his shoulders, but you couldn't laugh. Not this time. He was amazing at most moments of your life, but right now you couldn't stand him. "You asked me to come to a party and I showed up. I didn't know I had to pretend to like it." Kai cocked his head and you bit your lip.

"You really don't get it, do you?" You crossed your arms over your chest and stood up. "I would just really like to dance with you!" You raised your voice and you threw your hands in the air. "And I don't care if the music is bad. I don't care that you don't like my friends. I don't care that you hate the food. I just want to be with you. I just want to dance with you. I just want to have a good time with you. But I honestly doubt if you even know how to do that." You sighed and turned around to walk away. You couldn't get very far though.

Kai grabbed your wrist and forced you to stand still. "Look, this whole dating and falling in love thing is new to me. Give me some credits. If you wanna dance, we'll dance."

You turned around and licked your lips. "Thank you."
