You opened your eyes, only to find out that you didn't know where you were. The last thing you remembered was Lucien showing up with a bunch of flowers, and after that... You shot upright.

He had knocked you out. He had...

You didn't even know what he had done, but the fact that you were here on an unfamiliar couch didn't immediately make you at ease. You saw big windows, with a view over the entire city, and when you sat upright, your head still slightly pounding from whatever it was that he used to knock you out, you saw him, his back turned to you, and you shot a look at the door. Maybe... if you were fast enough... You made one movement to stand up.

"I wouldn't even try that, love..."

You looked back, seeing that he was looking at you now. "What am I doing here, Lucien? I thought..."

"You thought I liked you? That I was courting you, perhaps?" He laughed, and the smile that you had liked about him suddenly was something you hoped never to see again.
"You were a means to an end, darling..." He walked over to you, stroking his finger over your cheek. "A very pleasant means to an end, I have to say. But I think it's time to end all these games, don't you think?" He sat down on the couch, which only made you shrink back from him.

"What are you planning?" You wanted to add that someone would come to get you, but somehow Lucien had convinced everyone he was on their side. No one would look for you here, and you started to panic.

"Shh, love... don't panic. That's not going to solve anything, and it'll only make this more unpleasant than it has to be. Just make yourself comfortable here, because you'll be here for a while. At least until I've finished all my preparation. And don't get your hopes up. I'm never letting you go."
