You had been trying to wriggle out of the rope that was binding you for hours... or at least, it felt like that. Unfortunately the man who had taken you had been very thorough, because you hadn't managed to get even a bit of wiggle room. You were tied up, delivered to the mercy of whoever it was who had taken you. When the door opened, you tried to make yourself invisible, as if he didn't know you were in here.

"Y/N?"

You suddenly looked up. That voice... that wasn't your kidnapper. That was...
"Damon? What are you doing here?" You knew the man had told you Damon would come, and that was why he had done this, but you didn't get why he had taken you of all people.

He ran over to you, kneeling next to you.
"I've been looking everywhere! What the hell happened! I thought I told you to stay put!" He started to tug on the ropes, getting them loose faster than you had ever been able to do.

"You did. I didn't see why, because you never even spare a look for me. And it's not like I went on a day trip and ended up here, ok? I would have preferred to stay home as well." You rubbed your wrists. They were painful and raw from the hours you had tried to free yourself.

"Don't start acting all cocky, ok. I thought I lost you, and I went crazy just thinking it." He helped you up, looking around. "We need to leave, ok? You need to get out before he comes back."

"I need to get out?" You eyed him suspiciously. "And you? I mean... I think he got me to get you here. Even when I don't get why."

He almost dragged you out of the house, putting you in his car, slipping in next to you.
"Well... apparently he knew me a lot better than I knew myself. I never even knew I needed you, I only realized that when you were gone. He knew that. So... first I'm gonna get you someplace safe, two, I'm coming back here to give him what he wants. And three, I'm gonna rip out his hear to make sure he can never hurt you again."
