Request - Drabble Jackson Whittemore

You opened your eyes and held your breath. A cold breeze was touching your cheeks and there was sand between your fingers. Quickly you pushed yourself up. The full moon could barely reach the clearing, but you could see the trees that were the closest by.

The forest had always been your best friend. The trees had listened to all your stories and had never judged you. At a certain moment even the animals had not run away from you anymore.

But right now you didn't feel safe. You didn't feel safe at all. You had no idea how you had gotten here. You couldn't remember climbing out of your bed. You couldn't remember opening the front door. You couldn't remember walking here on your bare feet.

"(Y/N)!"

You felt Jackson's arms around your body before you could see him.

"Jackson?" You trembled and you pushed him away.

What if he knew that you were here because he had brought you here himself? What if the boyfriend you had started to love was some kind of weird monster? What if the co-captain of the lacrosse team was secretly murdering innocent girls like you in his free time?

"I'm here to get you home." Jackson spoke softly and he looked around, as if he wanted to be sure that no one would see him. "Don't talk. Don't move. Don't scream. You're not safe here."

No, you had figured that out too. You just wanted to be sure that you were safe with Jackson. "How did I get here?"

"Look, it's a long story and I can't tell you everything right now. Do you trust me?" Jackson tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and his eyes stared straight into yours.

You nodded. "Yes, but..." You swallowed. "I'm afraid..."

Jackson sighed and he cocked his head. "I know. I'll tell you everything when we're at home. Can you please just hold me so I can get you out of here?" He grabbed your arms and wrapped them around his neck. "Close your eyes and don't ask questions until you're in bed again. I'll answer them all, I promise."
