Request - Drabble Kai Parker

Kai took a deep breath and for the first time in days a smile was spreading across his face. Today he was finally going back to you. Today he was finally going back home. He had counted every day, every hour, every minute. And he was counting the last ten seconds out loud. "3...2...1..."

"Kai?" You screamed and ran towards him to wrap your arms around his neck.

The smile on his face was brightening and he caught you so he could twirl you around. "It's good to be back." He put you back on your feet and he brushed your hair out of your face. "Did you miss me?" He pressed a soft kiss on your lips and you nodded.

"I missed you every second." You bent your head and for a short moment Kai and you were just standing there.

If someone had told him weeks ago that he would have missed someone this much, he would have laughed out loud and would have asked them if they had gone crazy. He, Kai Parker, never missed anyone. Just like no one had ever missed him. But everything had changed when he had met you. All of a sudden he had started feeling things he had never felt before. At first he had blamed it on melting with his brother, but soon he had discovered that it was more than that, it was deeper than that.

You were his everything. You were the sun on his clouded days. You were the moon in his darkest nights. You were the cold breeze during the hottest summer of his life.

"I never even knew I needed you." Kai whispered and he pressed you a little tighter to his chest to make sure you knew that he meant it. "But I do. I need you and I want you and I hope that you'll never be dimensions apart from me anymore."
