Vancha was gonna head to Vampire Mountain and tell the others of what had happened - as I guess he has become the messenger at this point.

"Be brave!" Vancha says.

"You too." Darren says.

I give Vancha a thumbs up and a smile

"We'll kill Leonard next time." He vowed.

"Aye." Darren says.

It slowly kills me every time I hear Leonard, he used to go by Leopard. Steve Leopard....it is so strange to hear a Leonard paired with a Steve.

Vancha ran off, couple seconds pass and he hits flitting speed and is gone in a flash.

"Jack you want to come with us?" I ask.

"To the Cirque?" He asks.

"Yeah, Cirque Du Freak. It'll be great."

"I don't know."

"Its fine you don't have to."

"No I'll go. I don't want you to be alone there."

"Alone?" Harkat asks.

"She has plenty of friends." Darren says.

I glare at Darren, "Friend, huh?"

"Who said I was talking about me?"

"Will you come back later?" Debbie asks Darren.

"I'll try." He says.

"If he doesn't, you can always go looking for him." Evanna says. She handed Alice a folded paper. "Hold onto that. Keep it closed. When the two of you decide upon your course of action open it."

"Take care." Darren says.

"You too." Debbie says.

"Tell Smickey I said bye." I tell Debbie.

"I will."

"I'm sorry for being a jerk before."

"Its OK. I somewhat understood."

And Alice and Debbie headed out of the mini-forest and goes back to the large city. How strange is it to have a forest right next to a large city?

"Any idea where the Cirque is?" Evanna asks us. We shook our heads. "Then its lucky that I do and am going there." She smiles.

We've been at the Cirque for a couple months now.

I have recovered from Larten's death - as much as you can from a death - but Darren hasn't, not in the slightest.

The two of avoid each other like the plague and didn't even spare each other glances.

Harkat has told me Darren has become rather cold...and that I need to be the one to comfort him, but...I don't want to. I'm still angry at our fight and at myself for causing it to begin with.

Mr. Tall seemed saddened by the knowledge of his friend's death, but tried his best not to show it...but I easily could - we all easily could.

"You worried about Darren?" I hear and turn to see Evra.

"Of course..." I sigh. "I feel bad for avoiding him, but I don't know what to do. Not to mention it was right after he lost such an important person to him. His mentor, best friend, father figure."

"I haven't lost anyone important to me. If something ever happened to one of my kids I don't know what I'll do."

"Right..." I say. "Its just so... depressing."
