Over the next few days Steve and I officially started dating. Darren was surprised that we decided this, but I love it. I love him.

We try to keep our lovey-dovey side to a minimum, but it is just so hard.

Our teams have no changed, I'm still with Darren and Harkat - to Steve's dismay.

Those same few days we spent following Darren and I's class mates. Darren, Harkat, and I following Richard - Darren's friend. Vancha and Steve following Cai. Larten and Debbie following after some other random chick in our class.

We all got cell phones, to stay in touch if we find something. Vancha was completely against the notion, but we did it anyway.

Oh right, we all decided that we would leave Sunday if we didn't pick up a trace of the vampaneze by then.

It is currently Thursday, before school.

"Hey!" I smile to Cai and Smickey as I run up to the pair.

"He-hey." Smickey says, "Why haven't you been at school? What happened after I left?"

"Just too busy and nothing really."

Smickey nods his head. "Oh! I just remembered I have a club meeting to head to! Talk to you both later!"

The rest of the say was long and boring. Darren and I went straight to the hotel.

Once I enter the hotel room my loving boyfriend engulfs me with a big side hug.

"I missed you." He whispers into my ear.

"I missed you too...."

"You guys!" Darren snaps at us which makes me laugh.

"Tux, would you like to go on a date?" Steve offers. "We'll be back before dark."

I smile and nod, "Let me change first."

"Of course."

When I am finished with my shower and dressed in my casual attire we leave the hotel hand in hand.

Sure it would be weird to be seen with someone much older looking than I am, but I didn't care.

Steve is my soulmate - how could I spend so much time liking Darren when the guy that was actually meant for me was in front of me all along?

"I'm sorry." I smile as my grip on his hand tightens.

"For what?"

"For originally liking Darren. I'm sorry for not trusting you when you first arrived. I'm sorry for never telling you about the vampires..."

"Don't apologize." He smiles as he brings our hands up, he's so perfect. "You have nothing to apologize for..." He kisses my hand and I giggle.

We walk around the city, we found a really cool and somewhat crowded shopping center.

I smile as I skip to a food stand and buy us some ice cream and hand Steve his chocolate flavored ice cream cone.

We continue our adventure through the awesome city.

Once we finish our ice cream I pull us into a clothes store and force him to shop with me. We didn't buy any clothes through I did consider it.

Two hours passed and the sun was finally sinking and we headed back to the hotel.

I leaned my head on his shoulder and smiled as we walked.

"Tux..."

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you too..."

"If I ever mess up it isn't against you...and I'm sorry. I really do love you."

I take my head off of him, "What are you talking about? You planning on breaking up with me?"

"Of course not!" He yells. "I'd never! But I've made mistakes and I think that soon they'll finally catch up with me."

"I'll stand with you while you're facing them. So will Darren and the others. I'm sure of it. You're one of us now."

He looks ahead of us. "Yeah..."

"Nothing you could do would change that."

"Yeah." He nods his head. "Thanks Tux."

Maybe we rushed things. Maybe I rushed things. Maybe I was in such a hurry to get over Darren I created fake feelings for this man. At least...that's what I hope...that's what I hope so much.
