Love

Mathew POV

We made it back to the manor and I still had Alexandria in my arms and she was still fast asleep. I gently placed her in bed and covered her up and started to leave when I decided to stay by her side, I went and get a book and a cup of tea then I grabbed the bouquet of white roses that I got her when I got her ring and went back up to her room. I sat the roses next to her then sat on the chair beside her bed, and started to read.

Alexandria POV

I woke up to the smell of my favorite flowers, I open my eyes and saw that there was a bouquet of them lying next to me. I sat up looking at them and I couldn't help but smile. I picked up the flowers and smelled them. Really the only one that knows about my favorite flowers was Mathew. I turned to face the door and saw that Mathew was sitting on the chair next to the bed.

"Hi" I said

He looked up and at me "Hi" He smiled seeing that I was smiling with the roses in my hands "Do you like them?" He asked

"Yes thank you so much Mathew"

"Your very welcome my lady"

He walked over to me took the flower put them on the side table. Uncovered me and lifted me up and then he spun around

After the last turn I was a little dizzy. I looked into Mathew's eyes and I fell more in love with him. "Wow"

"Is there something wrong my lady?"

"Um... I...um" I said nervously I felt my cheek become a little warm and then I knew that I was blushing

He placed me back on the bed then sat down next to me. He grabbed a hold of my hands and just looked at me in my eyes.

"Um...Alex, I have something to tell you."

"Yes Mathew"

"Um...When we made this contract you wanted a lover then you said that you wanted me to be your lover."

Oh god please don't be leaving already please no I told to myself. I felt my eyes being to water

"Alex ever since that kiss we had I've been falling in love with you."

I was shocked did he just say that "You have, but I thought that demons couldn't feel."

"We can but demon are more concern for their souls. But me my lady I don't care about souls I care about you." I couldn't help but smile.

We looked into each other's eyes. "Mathew"

"Yes"

"Ever since the kiss I've been falling in love with you to. I love being with you. It makes me feel safe. And I'm glad that I'd made this contract with you."

He smiles at that. He pulled me into his lap and we hugged. "Alexandria"

"Yes Mathew."

"The reason why I wasn't here when you got kidnapped was because I went out to get you something." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring box.

"What"

"Along with the flowers I bought you this" He opened the ring box and there layed, a sliver ring with an ocean blue heart gem in the middle. It took my breath away I couldn't believe that he got me this

"It's a promise ring." He took it out of the box "I promise you Alexandria to always be there for you. And to truly love you until the contract is over and maybe even after that." He said while placing the ring on my figure.

I didn't know what to say he just promised to truly love me.

"Alex I- I truly love you." My eyes widen. Did he just say those three words? "And I mean it Alex I really do love you"

My eyes being to water more and a few water drops started to fall and I knew that I was starting to cry. "Mathew" I finally said

"Yes"

I looked into his eye and said something that I thought I would never say. "I love you to Mathew"

He smiled and wrapped his arms around me. I was still on his lap when I started to cry. We just told each other how we feel and he said that he loved me. I couldn't help it I let go of all the tears I was holding and I just cried in his lap.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you. I love you Mathew." I kept saying that over and over again.

We just sat on the bed while we were holding each other. By that time I stopped crying but I didn't want to move because I didn't want this moment to end, it was just me and him and I was enjoying it.

"Alex"

"Hmm"

I looked up at him "It's almost 1 in the morning, it's time for you to go to bed. I know that you woke up but you need your rest ok."

I nodded my head. I did have a long day and even though I did woke up I was tired. "Stay by my side"

"I'll always stay by your side, no matter what"

I got off Mathew's lap and layed down then Mathew layed next to me. I cuddled up next to me, rested my head on his chest.

"I love you Alex sweet dreams."

"I love you to Mathew." He rubbed my back and I fell asleep by his heartbeat and breathing.
