Mathew Birthday

Alex POV

My fever finally broke and I was feeling a whole lot better and sadly my father was back with Ciel.

I was walking around the manor looking for Mathew, I wasn't in my normal clothing which was a dress. I had black pants and a nice black short sleeve shirt on and a little bit of white and buttons on the front. I heard music and singing coming from the kitchen, I walked in and saw him baking. I went up to him and wrapped my arms around him

He jump but then realized that it was me "Hello my love"

"Hi Mathew. Are you baking?" I asked

"Yes"

"Can I help?" I asked quickly

"Of course" He said trying to reach something from the top shelf of the cubit.

I looked at what he was making and it was icing. Was he making a cake? I asked myself "What are you making Mathew?"

"Icing M'lady" He said

"Why Mathew."

"Well I'm making a cake."

"Oh" I said "I'll be right back ok"

"Alright"

Mathew POV

I was excited to see Alex wanted to help me. I put the cake in the oven as she walked out of the kitchen. I asked her earlier that I had this day off since it was my birthday and she happily agreed to it. I was happy that today that I had the day off. Yesterday I had decided to get myself a balloon and a card knowing with all the things that Alex had to do that she would forget, but I understood so I didn't tell her. But it was extremely alright with me.

Alexandria POV

I went to the bathroom since I drank too much tea earlier in the morning. I was washing my hands when I noticed that the towel wasn't there. That was normal. Mathew must have brought it in his room again I said to myself smiling.

I walked out and went in his room where the towel was, I picked it up and wiped my hand dried when I noticed a balloon tied to his deck when a card siting there. I picked the card up and opened it and read it.

'Happy birthday to me.' It was in Mathew hand writing.

"It's Mathew's birthday" I looked down feeling bad that I forgot, but then an idea came into my mind.

I walked to the kitchen stopping and putting the towel in that bathroom. I walked back in seeing Mathew. He was still making icing. He was pouring the icing sugar in the bowl when he spilled some on the counter.

I gave a small giggle. He looked at me "Great job Mathew"

"What even Demons can make mistake sometimes."

Walking to the sink "I thought you were One HELL of a butler?" I said smiling

"Yes I am but that's mostly Sebastian."

I hugged him and he smiled. "I'm going out into town."

"Alright but please bring someone."

"I'll be alright Mathew and sides I have my cellphone and I can call you." I said kissing him on his cheek. I got into the car and drove to Ciel's manor.

It took me only a few minutes to get there. I got out and went to the front door and knock. There was no answer, I knocked again, still nothing. I knocked again, and again there wasn't any answer. I decided to just walk in.

I walk in and went to the kitchen where my father was running around the kitchen. He noticed me and looked like normal

He was starring when it finally clicked "Ahh Alex, I apologize."

"It's ok" I told him

"Lord Ciel is in his office"

"Alright thank you" I said tuning and heading upstairs and to Ciel's office

I knocked lightly then heard a faint "Come" I opened the door and walked in

"Hello Ciel"

"Oh hello Alex" He said looking up

"Ciel I have a favor to ask you" I said walking up to the desk

"Well today is Mathews Birthday and I wanted to throw him a party would we be able to do it here."

"Of course Alex"

I gave a big smile "That's great, I'm going to go to town I'll be back alright."

"Alright I'll see you later." I left and went down to town.

Ciel POV

"Sebastian" I called and he came in

"Yes young master"

"Were throwing a small birthday party for Mathew. Please have the main drawing room ready."

"Yes my lord" He said bowing

Alexandria POV

I walked down town Mathew's hard to shop for. I thought to myself then I stopped in front of a little antic shop, I walked in and looked around. I saw some pocket watches and one special one had my family cress on the back. I pick it up and looked at it. "This is it" I said to myself. I walked up to the casher and he told me how much it was. I realized that I didn't have enough.

I looked down, at the pocket watch then at my family ring. I gave a sigh and took of my ring and held it up "Would this pay for it" I asked the guy

He smiled and nodding taking the ring from me and then I left. I stood outside the shop holding the little bag with the pocket watch in it. He's worth it, he's worth it. I told myself. I walked back to the car and drove back to Ciel's and walked in. I looked for Ciel and bumped into Sebastian instead.

"Oh Lady Alex I'm sorry" He said still being formal

"No it's alright. Hey dad do you want to see what I got for him?" I asked as we started to walk to the main drawing room

"Oh well alright" I carefully took out the pocket watch and showed it to him. "It's pretty Alex but what you paid to get it. It seems that you finger in bear"

"It was nothing."

"Alex"

"So I paid with my family ring it's no big deal and Mathew is worth it" I told him. "Anyway I have to get back to my manor I'll bring Mathew back in about an hour ok"

"Alright" I walked out and drove home

A/n Hey everyone Niallsgirl here. I really hope that you are enjoying the story and the next chapter update with be on Sunday after I come back from camping or Monday.

Next week is a really busy week due to the fact that I'm graduating so I might not update any of my stories so I do apologize for that, but look forward I'll do a big update on all my stories after.
