Alexandria POV

It's been a month since my birthday and I've been getting tired very easily lately. I would start to drift off while doing something or even when I'm standing. We had it check out but the doctor said that it was nothing and that I should get more sleep at night. I was about to protests but Mathew cut me off and said thank you for his idea and that he would keep that in mind. If I wasn't so high class I swore that I was going to punch him.

I was in my office drawing a new idea for my company when I heard a soft knock on the door. "Come in Mathew." I called

The door opened and He walked in "How did you know it was me my sweet?" He asked setting my tea in front of me

Without bringing my head up I answered his questioned. "Well firstly my mother knows not to bother me when I'm in my office. It was the same thing with my father. She would never bother him when he was in here doing his work unless it was very important. Secondly I perfectly know it was you due to the fact you always serve me tea at this time."

"Well it is your tea time M'lady." I brought my head up and smiled.

"Mathew come here please." He came around the table and close to me. I grabbed him by the tie and brought him closer and I placed my lips on his. It only took him a second to start kissing me back full forced. We broke the kiss and I looked at him "Sorry if I hurt you. And could you do me something?"

"You could never hurt me my love and serving you is always my pleasure." He smiled and bowed.

"Could you get me a rose from the garden please, its plain in here."

"What type of rose darling?"

"Surprise me Mathew."

"Of course my majesty."

He walked out of the room and I started to work but not long after I couldn't keep my eyes open so I put my head down and rest my eyes.

Mathew POV

I walked back in to the office and saw that Alex was asleep again. I smiled and chuckled but then my smile went away the doctor said not to worry about it but I am. I am worried, I'm worried about my Loves safety and health.

I walked over to the desk and place the small flower jar with a single red rose on the table next to the photo of Sebastian, her mom and the lady that I took on her birthday night.

I gently placed my gloved hand on her shoulder and stock her gently "My lady."

She lifted her head the slightest and sneezed hitting her head off the table "ouch that hurt."

"Are you alright M'lady?" I asked worriedly

"Yes I am. I'm sorry that I was asleep again Mathew." She told me letting her head drop.

"Now, now it's alright, it's not your fault M'lady. Everything will be fine." I assured her.

She looked at me then attacked me in a hug, wrapping her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her. "How about you take a quick nape, you have nothing on your schedule."

She nodded. I picked her up bridal style, and she nuzzled her face into my neck for warmth.

I carried her to her room and set her gently on the bed. Before she fell asleep I changed her into something more comfy. Kissed her on her forehead then walked out of the room shutting the door behind me.

Alexandria POV

I woke up about an hour later. I laid in bed for a couple a minutes until I felt my stomach flip. Dashing to the bathroom I throw up everything that I eat earlier that day. I sat leaned over the toilet with my head resting on one of my arm while I had my other arm holding my stomach.

My best choice was to call Mathew but I didn't want to worry him. I felt more coming up my throat so I just let it puking into the toilet again, getting everything that I ate out of my stomach.

My head pound while my stomach ached.

After finishing I decided to take a bath so I flushed the toilet and filled the tub, got undressed and got in. I brought my head back and let my body float. I sat there for maybe half an hour.

I had my eyes closed and it was peaceful until a thought popped in my head. My period.

I haven't gotten my period since before my birthday which means it's late.

I stood out of the bathtub and stared at the cabinet under the sink. Walking over to it while water dipped off my wet body. I opened the door and looked at the box that was placed there. Picking it up, I opened it taking one of the sticks out.

~few minutes later~

I sat on the cover on the toilet while staring at the little white stick. A little pick plus sign showed up. I felt the energy drained out of my body while my body color became pale. My eyes widen and got cloudy with tears.

I was pregnant. With Mathew's child.

I quickly throw away the pregnancy test and put the box away making sure that everything was normal. I quickly got dressed and walked out of the bathroom into my room.

Mathew was standing there "Ahh M'lady there you are. Did you have a nice nap?"

I looked at him. "Y-yes. Um I'm going to my office Mathew." I began to walk towards the door but Mathew stopped me by grabbing on arms

"Are you feeling well M'lady you're awfully pale." He said placing his hand on my forehead.

I slapped it away "I'm fine" I said making sure to sound sure. "I'm going to my office now." I walked out of my bedroom and went to my office. I shut the door and lend against it, terrified.
