Memories under the willow tree

Mathew POV

I really don't enjoy seeing my sweet sick like that every time after she eats

It's been a few weeks and she is now in her first mouth. She has increased in her moods and order me to do silly things but I don't mind it.

"MATHEW." I heard

I began my walk to my sweet office and opened the door. "Yes M'lady."

"I'm tired of paper and im tired in real life....I want to relax." She said. "But I want my mother, just my mother." She walk out of her office leaving me behind. Giving a sign I went to find her mother. I walked into the drawing room and saw her sitting and reading.

"My apologies but my Mistress would like to see you." I bowed to her

"Where can I find her Mathew?" Asking putting her book that she was reading down.

"My apologies but I don't actually know. She said that she wanted to relax my lady."

She smiled "I know exactly where she is." Getting up she strolled out of the room.

I stood there after she left the room and I decided to start cleaning.

Alexandria POV

I was under the pink willow tree sitting on the bench that my mother and I used to sit together on. It was so peaceful so calming. There was a breeze, and for some reason my morning sickness vanished.

I sat there until I heard my sweet mother's voice. "Still a beautiful tree, isn't it."

I turned around and saw my mom. She sat down beside me. I layed me head on her shoulder. "Do you remember when you were six? You came down to me with a really high fever."

"Yes I told you that I felt yucky." I said smiling

"I felt your forehead and it felt like fire. Then I picked you up, you put your head in my neck. Your step father walk into the room and asked worried what was wrong and you said the same thing that you said to me. He took you in his arms and told the head butler to cancel all his meetings. He kept by your side the rest of the day and all night."

I smiled at the thought of my step-father. I missed him. "I remember that day. We watched movies until I fell asleep and when I woke up he was still there, awake watching me. He pet my hair out of my face, and I cuddled into him."

"Hunny you need to know that he did wanted you to know that truth."

"I know mom I know and it doesn't make a different that he raised me, he's still my father and I loved him."

"I'm glad that you did, because he loved you to. He told me that he always will." I smiled and hugged my mom. "How's your morning sickness baby."

"Really bad mom. But right now it's gone."

"This is always been a magic place, I place where even when I was pregnant with you my morning sickness always went away here I don't know why. It's a mystery."

Smiling we sat there for maybe for an hour and an half just talking. I told her what happen the day of the accident, and also told her about the murder of our old head butler/ family friend. I explained how I felt and she already knew what I did but I told her anyway.

"M-M'lady." We both turned and saw Mathew

"Yes Mathew." I said

"Dinner is ready."

"Come sweetheart let's get something in your stomach."

Nodding, we both got up and started making our way to the dining room. "I'll be there in just a moment M'lady."

I looked at him and saw that his eye were glittering "Are you alright Mathew?"

"I'm fine my sweet. I'll just be a moment I promise." He said kissing me on my forehead.

Nodding we went inside.

Mathew POV

Watching as they left a single tear fell out of my eye. I heard everything that my love said. I already knew about her parents and how she might have felt but I never actually knew, until now. It hurt me knowing that she was so hurt before I came.

Turning and facing the window I fixed myself up and went inside where my lover and her mother were already eating. I guessed that Alister severed them but they didn't have any tea.

I got both their tea ready and set it beside their plates. "Thank you Mathew." Her mother said. I simply nodded.

"Mathew are you sure that you're alright? You seem off." I looked at her but before I could speak lady Harper got up

"I'll leave you to." And with that she walked out of the room.

I looked back at Alex "Please Mathew you can tell me." She said

"I over-heard what you told your mother. It hurt me to hear how hurt you were, that you were so hurt that you could literally feel the pain every day, that you cried yourself to sleep every single night and had nightmares for a full year. I knew that you went through a lot before you summoned me, but I couldn't imagine the much pain. I just wish that you wouldn't have gone through all the pain."

"Mathew if I didn't go through all that pain then I wouldn't have you. My sweet wonderful butler who I love with all my heart. Plus I wouldn't be pregnant or have found out that Sebastian is my real father. I'm happy to have gone through it." Getting up from her seat she wrapped her arms around my neck. And planted her lips against mine.

I started to kiss her immediately. I wrapped my arms around her and run my hand up her back. I wanted her but I couldn't I had more self-restraint.

We pulled away and I looked into her eyes. And all I could feel was love. "I love you Mathew, I love you so much."
I pulled her into a hug close to my body. "I love you to Alex, so much that you will never know." I kissed her on her forehead. "Now you should go back to eating I'll go find you mother."
I let go of her and she sat down. I walked out of the room and searched for her mother. "Lady Harper there you are, I've been looking for you. Are you ready for finish the rest of your dinner?"

She nodded and we walked back to the dining hall. When we walked in there wasn't just Alex but Claude was with her.
