Taking a liking

Mathew POV

I was awake and still holding Alex in my arms. My strength was back but I could feel that I still had a fever. I looked at Alex who was still fast asleep and smiled slightly. She shivered and I pulled her closer. She was still half naked from the night before. I didn't want to move because I didn't want to wake her, she looks so peaceful.

I looked at the ceiling then I felt Alexandria start to move, I think she was waking up, I looked at her and smiled.

Alex POV

I woke up in Mathew arms. I looked up at him and I saw that he was smiling at me

"Morning beautiful" He said

"Morning Mathew. How do you feel?" I said

"I feel alright M'lady, my strength is normal and it might be a little stronger than before, but I still have a fever."

"Really"

He nodded "Do you order me to stay in bed M'lady?"

"Well are you able to do your work Mathew? I don't want you to push yourself. I don't think Sebastian would mind if he and the Lord Ciel stay another day so you can rest, or Sebastian could help you with your work."

"Or you two could come and stay at my manor Lady Alex." I looked at the door and I saw Ciel and Sebastian standing there.

"Oh good morning Lord Ciel and you too Sebastian"

"Good morning Alex"

"Good morning lady Alexandria" Sebastian said after Ciel

"So what do you think Alex, would you like to spend the night at my manor, you will be safer from Claude there then here." He said a little worried

I sat up pulling the blankets up so that Ciel didn't see anything. I still had Sebastian's overcoat on. I felt an arm wrap around me and pull me closer and of course it was Mathew, pulling my closer to his body. "Well I wouldn't mind in case he does it again. Thank you Ciel" I said giving him and smile

"Alright I will be leaving and I'll see you later alright Alexandria."

"Alright Ciel I'll see you later." I watched as Sebastian and Ciel left the room then I looked back at Mathew

He looked back at me with a loving look. I just snuggled deeper into his chest.

"M'lady I believe it's time to get you dressed. It isn't right to have the young mistress without any clothes on."

"Just a little while longer please Mathew, just a few more minutes of you holding me it feels nice, and I feel safe."

"Alright" He pulled me closer to his body, but thinking I don't think that I could get even closer, but we can try.

It really did feel nice to be held by him, he always made me feel safe no matter what the case was.

I snuggled into him a little more. "Mathew..."

"Yes my sweet"

"I just wanted to say that I love you"

"I love you to Alex"

A few minutes later and we finally got up and got me dressed. I got dressed in a light blue dress and dark blue heels on. We went down stairs and Mathew made me an easy breakfast, because I didn't want him to push himself so we worked together and made scrambles eggs. I helped clean and put everything anyway, Mathew of course tried to stop me by saying, 'Masters and mistress don't have to do it' but I just said 'Well I'm different' and just kept going. We got the work done faster.
