To Be Loved

The Party

Mathew POV

I was decorating my cake, when I saw Alex standing in the doorway. "Welcome home love"

She smiled. "Hi" "Mathew"

"Yes my love" I said finishing up the cake

"Where going to the Phantomhive's." She said

So much with me having my birthday off. "Alright" I looked at her then at her finger. Her ring is gone. I must get it back for her. That means too much to her.

She walked out of the kitchen when I stayed and super cleaned the kitchen. Then I went out to get her ring back and made it back without her knowing.

*Time skip into the car*

For some reason Alex was driving. We made it to the Phantomhive's, we both got out and Sebastian was waiting for us. I was dressed in my uniform, but not really wanting to be in it. She hold a bag in her hand. I didn't know what it was for but I didn't ask

"Ah Lady Alex welcome" He said with a smile

We went inside and went to outside of the main drawing room

"I'll be right back, you know what to do dad" she said and he nodding "Oh Mathew do what he says alright"

"A-alright" I was nervous about that. I watched as she walked away then looked at Sebastian.

Alexandria POV

I ran to the bathroom and got the dress that was in the bag on and instead of going back to where Mathew and my father was I went in the other door, got settled with Ciel then banged on the wall. The door opened and they walked in. As soon as Mathew walked in me and Ciel yelled 'Happy Birthday' and his mouth dropped

"Happy birthday Mathew" I said walking up to him I gave him a side hug, he put his arm over my shoulder. "I'm sorry that I didn't remember but I hope this makes it up to you"

"I-I don't know what to say" He said "I'm shocked, thank you Alex" He said picking me up and spinning me around. He put me down and lend our forehead against each other's, and looked into each other's eyes.

"Um how about we have some cake" Ciel said.

"Ok" I said pulling away from Mathew

Mathew POV

She did all this for me. I said to myself watching Alex while she went and got a piece of cake and ate and talked to Ciel. Sebastian walked up and beside me.

"She cares you know that right Mathew."

"Yes Sebastian I do... so much that she should give away her family ring."

"What are you going to do?" He said

"Don't you worry about it Sebastian I have thing under control."

A few hours passed and it was Ten O'clock Ciel and Alex were sitting down and both Ciel and Alex was drifting off

"Well I believe it's time for my young master to retire." Sebastian said gently picking Ciel "You know where the bedroom is for Alexandria"

"Yes but I think I should bring her home"

"Alright Mathew and Happy Birthday" He said then walked out

I went and picked Alex up smiling on how much she did care. I grabbed the bag that she had and walking to the car. Opening the door and placed her in the seat and buckled her up, then got in myself. I drove back to her manor and picked her up and carried her upstairs and to her bedroom where I layed her down.

Alex POV

I woke up on something soft, opening my eyes I saw that I was in my room. Smiling I saw Mathew putting the dress that I had on in the laundry then turning around

"I hope you liked the party Mathew."

"I did and I want to thank you for it my love"

"Your welcome. Um Mathew I got you something" I said sitting up

He walked over to the bed and sat down. I got the bag that was beside the nightstand and got the watch out and gave it to him. "Here"

He took the pocket watch and looked at it, he flipped it and looked on the back which had my family symbol. "Alex it's beautiful, you must have gone though much to get it." He said putting the watch on the bed and taking my left hand.

"No not that much and your worth it"

"Oh really is that so Alex?" He asked

"Yes Mathew is it."

"Well it seems that you did something unnecessary to get me the present M'lady and you know what I am talking about" He said letting go of my hand and there sat on my middle finger my family ring

I was stocked. "B-but how? How did you get it back?" I asked

"I'm your butler M'lady, and I do whatever is needed to make my mistress happy." He said making me blush a little. "An unhappy mistress is not in my vocabulary. And with you I never want to see unhappy."

I blushed a little more and attack him wrapping my arms around him, I hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me hugging me back "I love you Mathew"

"I love you two Alex" He layed me down still having my arms around him "Now my sweet I think it's time for you to retire for the night"

"Will you stay with me" I said letting go of him

"Always" He took off my family ring and the ring that he gave me and sat it on the side table, then layed down pulling me closer. I shut my eyes and drifted off into the darkness
