Alex POV

After my bath I got dressed in different clothes due to my other clothes having dust on it.

I watched Mathew pick up the clothes and the blazer and walked out.

I stood there before going to find my mom.

This time she was in the library. "M-mom?" I asked walking in.

She looked up. She always liked reading. "Yes baby." She said.

I gently walked over. "Did you see Matthew when you were up there?" I asked. I played with my fingers.

I was wondering and I missed him so much. She looked at me wondering what I was talking about.

She looked at me for a moment then realized who I was talking about.

She patted her lap and I quickly walked over and sat on her lap.

She took a deep breath. "Yes baby girl. I saw him. We were all looking down at you. He wished that he could have survived to look after you and protect you more." She said.

Tears formed my eyes. "Really?" I asked.

She nodded. "It hurt his heart seeing the way you were." She said. She started to rock side to side gently.

The hot tears fell. "I-I miss him....I miss dad too." I said.

"I know you do baby. I miss them too." She said hugging me slightly then whipped my tears away.

We sat there for a while in silence. "I wish they could come back." I asked braking the silence.

"I know baby." She kissed my cheek.

An hour after being with my mom I got up and walked around again.

I didn't know where I was going. I was in my own little world.

I looked around and saw that I was outside my music room. Smiling I walked in.

Walking in I walked over to my piano and sat down. My hand hovered over the keys.

I closed my eyes. Then I felt a present. It was a calming present.

I reopened my eyes and a man sat next to me, but not any man. It was Matthew.

I smiled. I could see through slightly but he was there with me. He smiled at me.

He looked at the piano keys and shows me which ones that he wanted me to play.

I watched carefully then nodded. I started to play the last song that he was teaching me.

After playing some of the song I looked up at him. "I miss you so much. I never got to thank you for saving me, but I wished that you didn't had to die." I said.

He smiled at me. "I'll always protected you M'lady." He said gentle. "I also miss you, but one day we'll be together once again." He said cupping my cheek like his did when I was upset.

I leaned into his hand. I could feel it like it was actually there. "Go to my room, there's something there I want you to have." He paused. "And practice that song." He smiled.

I chuckled slightly and looked up at him. "I will. But how will I know what you wanted me to have is?" I asked

He smiled once more. "You will know when you see it." He said disappearing.

I wasn't sad that he was gone. "Goodbye Matthew. I'll never forget about you." I said to myself.

I got up and went down to my uncle Matthew's old room. I grabbed a face mask knowing that it was dusting as hell in there.

I walked down the stairs and arrived outside his old door. I stood there for a few moments before putting the face mask on and heading in.

As I walked in. Memories beyond memories came into play. I smiled under my face mask.

I looked around for what my uncle wanted me to have. I walked over to his closest and opened the door. All he uniforms and a few normal clothes were there.

I looked at them before feeling an urge to look down.

Looking down I saw a small antique looking reddish box. Picking it up I brought it over to his old still made bed and sat on it.

I looked at the box and breathed before opening it.

Everything in the box was neatly placed. I starred at the things in the box.

The first thing I saw was a picture frame with a photo of Matthew and I  was I was little. I was in Matthew's arms in the library as Matthew held a book. I laughed as I saw that I was wearing Matthew's glasses.

I looked at the photo then placed it down. The next thing I picked up with his reading glasses. I smiled then placed them on top of the photo.

The third item I took out of the box was his old pocket watch. I smiled due to it was a very special one. I opened it up and on the front side was a photo of me. I looked at the clock. It was still working.

The last item I lifted out of the box was a small sand color container the lid had a single small shell. I open the top and looked inside.

I almost burst into tear as I saw it was Matthew's dog tags.
