Alex POV

I woke up alone and feeling better so I decided to get up and go to my office.

I opened the door and walked out. It was completely silent in the hallway. Once I got my office door I opened the door and walked in. The certain covered my window behind my oack desk. There was a little bit of dime light coming from the cracks of certain.

I flicked the light on when a loud sound of thunder making me jump. When the lights didnt come on I knew what we going on. The power is out. The thought to myself.

I walked down the candle light hallway. Mathew probably light them." I thought to myself again.

I continue walking down the hall. I looked up and saw a figure of a man. I couldn't really see but he was shorter than Mathew but still taller than me.

I stopped a little afraid. I blinked and the person was a little closer. "Hello....who are you?" I called out but he didn't listen.

He kept getting closer and closer then in with another sound of thunder he grabbed me by my neck and pushed me against the wall. "W-who are y-you?" I got out.

There was a flash if lighting and I saw his face. The man had a scar on his left side of his face going up and aross his eye. The man leaned closer to my ear and whispered. "If I can't have you no one will." Then he raised his arm about to smack me.

I closed my eyes. And started to panic "M-MATHEW.....D-DAD-DY...A-ANY-ONE." I screamed

Mathew POV

Alex started to kick and scream in her sleep which meant she was having a nightmare.

Both Sebastian and I started to shake her. "M'lady....M'lady wake up..."

"Alex....Angel its ok."

She jointed awake and clung to my chest. "M-Math-ew." She trembled while another sound of thunder cracked. Which made her tremble more.

"I'm here my sweet I'm here." I said rubbing her whole back.

"I'm here as well angle." Sebastian said.

"D-addy. M-ommy are you here?" She asked.

"Yes sweetheart I'm here." Lady Harper said.

She started to calm down when the door opened and she got scared again. I looked towards the door and saw Claude and Ciel. Claude was holding a tray what look like Alex's tea cups and Ciel was holding a light candle in one hand and in then other bag a little bag.

"Young master I apologize for not coming to fetch you." Sebastian said.

"How is she?" He asked.

"Tired and scared." Harper said.

They both walked in and Ciel shut the door. With two light candles it was more brighter.

"I started a fire in the wood room. The other servent are alright. And we made some tea."

"Thank you Claude." Sebastian surprisly said.

I looked at Alex who was trembling massively. "Do you want some tea love." She slowly nodded and sat up.

Both Ciel and Claude walk over. Claude pasted her a cap then gave Ciel and Harper one as well. Alex took a sip and started to calm down.

Ciel gave Claude the candle and he sat it down on the side table behind me.

"Alex I brought this maybe we could play" Ciel said pulling out her checker board. She gave a small smile and she nodded.

She leand against her pillows and head board. Ciel sat across from her. Getting up I got her bed tray and Ciel sat up the game.

Claude took the bag and took out a battery radio and turned it on. Country music started to play.

Alex POV

I started to relax while playing checkers with Ciel. I had drank all my tea then Claude surprised me with a cup of hot chocolate with mini mushmellows. I started to take a few sips as we played.

We play many rounds of it most of the rounds I won but I'm guessing that Ciel let me win to make me feel better. After a few more rounds we played chess. Mathew knew where it was and went to get it. Even through I didn't want him to.

I was still freaked out about the man in my dream. It scared me. Who was that person? I didn't know him but he knew me. Why did he try to kill me. My mind wondered trying to figure it out. I didn't know if I should tell Mathew knowing him he would how known.

"Angel." I got out of train of thought.

"Mhm." I looked at my dad.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

I nodded but really I didn't know. "I'm fine daddy." I looked at the game and thought of last move. I picked up the chess piece and moved it knocking down Ciel king making it my game "check mate." I said with a smile. No one ever beat him at chess but not tonight.

I looked up at him and saw he was shocked. Completely shocked. "H-how..."

"I had a good teacher." Ciel taught me how to play and I picked up his tricks. "I know chess is your game we can play again if you want."

There was a flush of lightning making it bright but then it went again. I closed my eyes and waited for the thunder. When it finally came I was in Mathews chest hiding my face. I hated being afraid but everyone that i loved was here and that made me feel safe.

"No its ok Alex that was a great game." Ciel said. When I came out of Mathew chest. I looked at him and saw that he was smiling. I smiled back.

I leaned against Mathew with his arms around me when my mom started to tell me and Ciel a story. I know where not kids but it was for us to fall asleep to. Midway Ciel passed out and my father placed a blanket over him.

Before I finally fell asleep i looked up at everyone and smiled. "Th-thank you everyone for being with me." I yawned then finally fell asleep safely in the arms that I loved dearly.
