Thunder-love time

Alex POV

I stood in front of my lover. He looked at me with a disappointment glanced then sighed. "Please don't be mad at me Mathew. I was alone when I woke up and I felt strange enough to get up. I was alone and scared...." I cried. I felt a tear escape my eyes.

I heard him sigh with regret "Alex my sweet it's alright. I'm not mad. I'm happy there you have a little of your strength back." I looked at him as he pulled me into a hug. "Please don't cry my sweet. I really don't like it when you cry."

It was calming being in his arms. I settled down. I felt myself being lift of the ground as Mathew picked me up and held me. I snuggled my face into his neck. "I feeling better Mathew but I just threw up again." I told him still being into his neck.

"Oh I apologize for not being with you. Do you want to go to bed. I nodded and he slowly carried me over to my bed and set me down.

"Its alright Mathew I understand that you are busy."

He looked down at me and smiled. "I was busy thinking about a ravishing young lady." He took my hand gentle and planted a kiss upon it. I felt my cheeks get heated up as I realized it was me who he called ravishing, but decided to play with him.

"Oh so your thinking about another lady, I see." I watched as he knew I was playing with him but playing along. "Who is she Mathew?" I asked trying to make my voice sound annoyed and jealous.

"Well you actually know her."

"Oh I do, do I" I starred at him as he sat before me.

"She has the most outstanding, alluring teal eyes, that anyone can just lose themselves in. With a beautiful head of hair that shines. Her smile is the most beautiful thing in my life." He pushed me down and lays on top of me but holding himself. "She's the best thing in this world." He leaned down and kissed me.

I was speechless no one ever said anything like that to me. I looked into his eyes. "Your so sweet Mathew." I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Of course I was thinking about you. There is no one else that I think about...well now both you and our child." I smiled and and let go of his neck and held my stomach with one of my hands. Leaving on arms still around his neck.

He gently placed his hand on mine. I looked at our hand on my stomach and then back at him "I love you Mathew."

"I love you too M'lady."

"Mathew are you sure that your alright with...."

"Of course, I am. I excited about having this child with you." He interrupted me.

I smiled "I know that your not lying because you can not." He layed beside me and pulled me close. He started to rub my back relaxing me completely.

"Your so tense my love but don't worry I'll give you a massage. The most relaxing massage you ever had."

"Mmm that sounds the greatest." He rubbed my whole back then my arms. I was totally relaxed that I drifted off to sleep.

Mathew POV

I was happy to have Alex sleeping in my arms. I saw Sebastian in the halls. I asked why he wasn't with Alex and he told me that she was asleep and that he needed to talk to Claude about something; but he was right her fever had gone down. I smiled to that thought.

I never enjoyed when she gets sick. It upsets me greatly when she's ill.

It started to rain when she was asleep, so it was dark when she finally woke up.

She was snuggled deep into my chest when she looked up at me. "Good evening my love. How did you sleep?" I asked as I rubbed up her back.

"Its evening already?" She questioned a little confused. She was still dazed which was alright.

"Yes my sweet. You have been asleep for a while."

"I'm sorry" She started to get up in a panic but I stopped her by pulling her back down into a hug.

"Don't be sorry my love. Your not feeling well and need your rest, so really it's quite alright."

There was a loud bang and Alex jumped and started to tremble. "Shh my love your alright." I held her close to me body making her feel safe.

"M-Mathew" She said trembling.

"Shh your safe my love." I rubbed her back.

Sebastian POV

I was in the library with Harper. I finished speaking with my spider brother. I knew Mathew had gone to be with Alex after we spoke so I knew that she was alright.

She was talking when the thunder roared. She stopped in her tracks. "Was that thunder darling?" She asked

I simply nodded. "Yes kitten it was why." She got up quickly "what's wrong?" I asked

It was then I remembered our daughters fears. "Alex"

She started to rush out of the room before I stopped her. "Wait" she turned to face me. I grabbed a candle and a lighter and nodded and both of use run up to her room.

I swung the door open as another loud bang roared, and Alex screamed. The power had gone out.

"Alex your ok my sweet. The power just went out." I heard Mathew say.

I quickly light the candle and walked and sat it on one of Alex bed side tables. "Angle are you alright?" I asked

I saw that her face was barried in Mathews chest. Mathew looked up and me as she shock her head no.

Harper had sat on the end of her bed rubbing her leg in comfort. "D-daddy I-I'm scared."

Mathew scooted over pulling Alex with him. I knew what he was doing. He was making room for me to lay down beside her. I nodded taking off my shoes quickly and getting in beside her. Wrapping my arms around her along with Mathews.

"I'm sorry that I'm not brave like you daddy." The room light up as lighting flashed.

"Shh it's alright angle. You don't have to be brave like me. Your brave in your own way." I told her.

Harper started to sing a lullaby. It seemed to settle her down a little. I looked at Harper I knew that song. She seem to knew what I was thinking and nodded.

I started to sing with her. Mathew rubbed her back and soon we knew it she was asleep once again.

We both stopped and looked back up at Harper. "It always calmed her down when she was little." I smiled and looked down at her.
