After I screamed into my pillow in frustration about Shadow the dirtbag and change into more comfortable clothing, I called up Cream and told her the whole story. She said she would love to come over and comfort me, but she was volunteering at a bakery or something. I was thankful that I had people like Cream in my life, you know, actually caring for me and stuff, but of course, I also have those people where they only care about themselves. Example, Shadow. However, this wasn't the time for me to be worrying about him, I need to contact Sonic. My heart was still torn apart from Sonic not showing up, what made it even worse was Sonic didn't bother to reply to any of my messages or calls. I grabbed my car keys checked my quills one last time before heading out to Sonic's house. He must have a perfectly good explanation on why he stood me up. All good guys have one, right?

When I finally pulled up to Sonic's driveway, I thought I was ready to meet him. Heck, I didn't even know why I was being so anxious. I sat in my car looking out to Sonic's house. He lived with Tails who probably pays for most of the bills. Despite only two people living in it, they still manage to maintain a two story house in a pretty decent neighbourhood. I inhaled and exhaled in deep long breaths. I could feel my heart pumping and my head go completely blank. I need to pull myself together, I needed to know why Sonic did something so mean to me! I swung my car's door open and stepped out. I looked down at what I was wearing and felt even more self conscious about myself. All I wore was a pair of sandals, a lace tank top and loose shorts. I left in such s hurry that I totally forgot how I looked like. Oh well, I don't look that bad anyways.

I walked up to Sonic's door and rang the doorbell. No answer. I noticed that their house's curtains where drawn together, and the house seemed quiet. Maybe they aren't home, I should ring again to make sure. I rung once more and waiting about 3 to 4 minutes before deciding that no one was actually home. As I started to make my way back down the steps, I heard the lock 'click!' , indicating that it was unlocked. When I turned around, my eyes widen to the size of globes and I felt my heart instantly stop.

The person that was standing in front of the doorway was neither Sonic or Tails. No, it was a female. A female that could mingle with both the males of the school and the females of the school without being judged. She had good grades, and was physically active. She stood there with her blue cyan orbs staring back into my jade coloured ones. Her front fur was a nice light brown while the rest of her body was darker shade of brown. Her top hair, or fur, was a mix of red and orange. It was hard to describe the fusion, but maybe a dark strawberry colour would suit it. As for her outfit, she was practically wearing nothing, just a blue vest! When I see her in school, I see her wearing full on clothing, but here? Practically naked. It wasn't unusual to see mobians seen wearing nothing, but knowing that this chipmunk was standing inside Sonic's and Tails house, I knew I had a horrified look on my face, who wouldn't be though? The only thing that was swirling around in my mind was the love of your dreams being together with someone else.

"May I help you?" Even her voice was perfectly toned and smooth.

I just stood there, speechless. My jaw was slightly hanging and I had to try to hold my tears back. I didn't want to know why she's here, I wish I didn't come. I wish I just waited till Monday to talk to Sonic. I wish that was me standing up there and her standing down here! I took a step back and was about to book it to my car, when Sonic entered the door way.

"Hey babe what's taking you so--" My eyes met Sonic, and I could see he was just as shock as I was.

I couldn't take it anymore, I wanted out.

"Ames I can--"

I ran. I don't know where I was going, but I just ran. I could feel the tears streaming down my face and my breathing quivering. Don't look back, don't look back, don't look back, don't look back... I kept chanting those words over and over in my head, it was the only thing keeping my mind off the blood like taste in my throat and my legs screaming out in pain. Don't. Look. Back.
