Scourge The Hedgehog Chapter 42

I needed to find that stupid green hedgehog that calls himself Scourge. After my new discovery about Shadow and a little bit of this organization, I found out that Scourge used to be associated with Shadow in the past. Maybe that was the reason why that they didn't like each other.

It was around 6:10 pm when I stopped my research and was driving around the town, in search for Scourge. After reading about Shadow's past, I could see the two being associated. I tighten my grip on my wheel and bit the bottom of my lip, remembering how I even found out about Shadow's past. "Red and black hedgehog incidents," is what I searched up and got hundreds of articles. In every single article, there always mentioned of Scourge. If my hunches are right, then Shadow and Scourge used to be partners in crime. I was about to give up my search when I heard loud banshee like hollering in the distance around the bad part of the downtown region. That could be Scourge's gang... I quickly turned off my car and exited it, double checking that I locked it. I began to walk towards the yelling while rubbing my arms and kept looking around to make sure no one was going to pop out of the shadow's and kill me. I looked down at myself and wished I didn't dress so nicely today. I was wearing a tight red dress that went all the way down to my ankles with matching red heels with a huge slit on my right side. My quills were in a tight bun and I wore enough make up that made me feel beautiful. If only I woke up earlier and realized all this sooner, I wouldn't have to dress so formally. I had no choice though, Shadow said to dress nice and it was about to be 7 o'clock soon. I jumped back to reality when I heard what sounded like a bottle being smashed against the wall, coming from inside an alleyway. I cautiously peeked over and widen my eyes with surprise and fright. There was Scourge with a bunch of other guys, like a LOT of other guys. They were smoking, yelling, laughing and I think one of them was sharpening a knife. M-maybe I'll catch Scourge at a different time...

"Well, well, wellll, look what we have here!"

I felt someone grab ahold of my arms. I looked over to see Scourge smugly smirking while leaning against the wall and holding onto my arm. "What brings a fine lil' lady like you into my turf hmm?"

"U-umm..." I was quite speechless. I just stared at Scourge with a scared look. How did he get so close to me so fast!?

Soon the other guys were huddling around us and it made me panic even more. I felt incredibly invulnerable and endangered.

"Oooh aren't cha's Shadow's lady!? Daaamn you looking hot tonight! Say what's the occasion?" Scourge pulled me closer and pinned me against the wall with his body.

I widen my eyes with terror and wanted to scream out for help. N-no Amy! Screaming won't do you any good in this neighbourhood. Use your brain, think Amy think! "S-Scourge..." I forced out. "I actually wanna talk to you about S-Shadow..."

He drew a blank face and blinked rapidly. He then went back to his smug look and leaned in closer. "Eeeh?? You want to talk to me about Shadow? Well sorry toots, but I don't hand out information for free."

I stared straight into his eyes with a gaze that could see pass his soul. "I have money--lots of it. I'll pay you for the information." I held up my small wallet that was carrying about 500 dollars. I knew Scourge wasn't going to tell me things for free, so I had to pull as much money out from my savings without suspecting my parents of anything.

He glared at the wallet then stopped pinning me against the wall. He nodded over to the guys, and they all dispersed back into the alleyway. He folded his arms and showed his jagged teeth. "Now you speakin' my language babe. Let's go into my office and discuss on this matter."

He started walking into the alleyway and I felt a cold shiver running down my spine. I slowly trailed behind him, passing the other dudes giving me dirty looks and hungrily stares up and down my body. I wanted to smash all their head with my hammer, but even I knew I couldn't take on this many guys at once. When I looked back at Scourge, there was an open door leading inside what looked like a small dim lit room. I cautiously stepped inside and looked around my surroundings. No windows, two chairs, one metal table and cracks all over the walls. S-some office...

"Wanna be a darling and closed the door behind cha?" Scourge took one of the free seats and pulled out a cigarette.

I was hesitant at first on closing this door, because this was my only means to escape. As long as I'm standing right in front of the door, I can easily slip out, if things get out of hand. So, I slowly closed the door and stood right in front of it.

"Don't worry baby, I'm not gonna hurt you." He said with a dirty grin. He gestured me towards the other chair.

I narrowed my eyebrows and shook my head. "N-no thank you. I actually prefer to stand." I said in a timid voice.

Scourge shrugged and puffed out a smoke of cancer. "Where shall we start, huh?" He said in a cold voice.

I lowered my head and then brought it back up when I felt ready for me to speak. "I want you to tell me how Shadow got caught and why you were accompanying him all those years."

Scourge's eyes widen, not expecting me to say something like that. He drew his lips into a frown and glowered at me. "Looks like little pinkie here was doing some research on her boyfriend. Finally figured it out that his pretty dangerous huh?"

I bit my lip. "Just tell me everything." I spatted back.

He leaned back into his chair and just death glared at me. He took another puff on his cigarette and blew out rings of smoke. "Fine. But don't go spreading shit after we're done talkin'."
