When I walk into the rehearsal room, I find everyone except Luke standing with their instruments, anxiously awaiting the start of band rehearsal. Calum gives me a big gorgeous smile and a friendly good morning hug. I wonder if the guys can feel the tension between us, because it's disorienting in my mind.

"How'd you sleep last night babe?" Calum asks, his voice dropping involve a bit at the end so no one else hears the term of endearment.

"Well, thank you, and you?" I ask him while a blush spreads across my cheeks. How does something as simple as talking to him about how I slept make my heart race and my skin heat up?

"It was a little cold," he admits while tuning his bass. He looks at me with those big brown eyes of his and bites his lip. The sound of Ashton clearing his throat brings us both back to reality, and we both step back from each other. "So, where's your boyfriend?"

"I have no idea," I shrugged to the group and checked my phone. "He kind of disappeared as soon as we got here."

"Tell him to get his ass in here so we can rehearse!" Michael laughed as he rocked from side to side in his black boots.

I looked around at the antsy boys and smirked at them all before waking up to Luke's mic stand at the front. I glanced over my shoulder at Calum and winked at him before taking hold of the microphone and tapping it a few times.

"I'll just fill in for him then," I giggled and look back at the guys, who are all giving me matching amused expression. "How hard can it be to be Luke Hemmings? I just need a pair posh leather boots and some scruff."

"Give it a whirl," Michael chuckled and tweaked one of the tuners on his guitar. "Which songs do you know?"

"Literally, all of them," I told him confidently. He raised his eyebrows at me and smirked.

"Alright, then take your pick."

"Hey Everybody," I answered without hesitation. It was easily my favorite song on the album. Michael began to play the opening chords of the song to lead me in, and I took a step closer to the mic.

"She maxed her credit card and don't got a job
She pays for gas with all the change in her car
It's not the end of the road
Yeah, we've all been there before
And it goes oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh"

The guys all laughed as I sang with my best impersonation of Luke's accent. I pulled the microphone off of its stand and walked over to Michael, draping my arm around him the way I've seen Luke do countless times. Calum's eyes were on me the entire time, whilst I made a goofy face at Michael and swayed us from side to side while I sang the next part.

"He's walking home cuz he can't pay for the bus
He needs a dollar but he ain't got enough"

Calum watched me with sparkling eyes as I walked back over to the middle, and I did my best to keep from blushing from his gaze.

"It's not the end of the world
Yeah, we've all been there before
And it goes oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh

Hey everybody
We don't have to live this way
We can all get some
We can all get paid
So whatcha say everybody?
Gotta live it up today
We can all get some
Yeah, we can all get paid"
