Florence ran straight to the phone and rang Dan.
He answered.
“Whatever you have read, forget it, please Dan, please.”
She heard Dan breathing but then he hung up.
Florence slid herself down the wall and sobbed.
Daisy was in the room with her parents who were arguing.
“You have gone too far, they were happy and he has to leave because of his job, I don’t know who you are anymore. Kyle was a long time ago Liz, she’s not going to forgive you anytime soon and neither am I.” Her dad came out to her and hugged her.
Her mother and Daisy followed.
“I’ll never regret what I’ve done, I’m leaving. If anyone wants me I’ll be at my sisters, come on Daisy.”
Daisy looked at Florence crying and looked at her dad.
“I don’t have to go with her do I daddy?” Daisy asked.
“It’s your choice.”
“I want to stay with Florence, I’m not coming.” She said running to Florence to give her a hug, this made Florence cry even more.
Her mother just nodded grabbed some of her stuff and walked out the door.
“We’ll be fine.” Her father said.
“What did mummy do?” Daisy asked.
“She doesn’t want me to be with Dan, so she sent him those letters, and those letters were what I used to send to Kyle, because I used to like Kyle, so Dan is a bit mad at me now.” Florence explained.
“Does that mean Dan isn’t coming back?”
“I don’t know, it may be a while or it may be never. He’s not going to pick up his phone if he knows it’s me.”
“We cannot let your mother win.” Her dad stated.
“We need a plan.” Daisy said, Florence laughed at this.
“OperationGetDanBack.” They all smiled at eachother.
