Chapter 101 - Bromance.

“I should’ve been the one who pulled her into the van, who held her. Now when she wakes up, she’ll be like, Kyle you saved me and she’ll fall in love with you all over again. It is my fault and I know you know how I feel because you love her too.” Dan said.

“Yes Dan, I love her okay, I love her as my friend and I know she loves you so much more than she ever could with me, every day for a whole year she asked whether you were okay, whether you talked about her and if I didn’t reply she’d call me and ask me why I didn’t reply. I don’t even compare to you Dan, she wants to marry you and have your kids and live with you forever and ever. I like Florence but you love her.”

Dan looked at him. “Do you want to be best man?”

Kyle smiled. “Of course!”

Dan held out his hand so Kyle could shake it but Kyle hugged him.

“Where’s Woody?” Will asked breaking the bromance.

“I have no idea.” Kyle said.

“Go find him; I need to talk to the police.” Dan said to Will.

“I’ll go with him.” Kyle said.

Dan stepped outside and found the police officer he’d helped to save Florence with.

“We have three names, Karmin Gillian, Victor Fox and Kane Ward. The base is behind the old furniture factory.” Dan told him.

“Thanks, we’ll get a team down there. They probably would have left by now but it’s worth a try and they might leave some evidence. In the meantime, here’s a walkie talkie, if you get caught or encounter them again just buzz in.”

“Sure.”

“And, I hope she’s okay.”

“Me too.” Dan nodded and shook his hand.

Dan ran back in and walked over to a nurse.

“How’s Florence?” He asked urgently.

“Are we talking about Mrs Smith?” She asked.

“Yes.”

“She’s in bad shock so the doctors are dealing with that. I do not know anymore.” She said. Dan nodded and sat down worrying.
