Florence went to her room and got changed whilst Dan explained what happened to her dad.
She sat there running her fingers through her hair. Her make up was dribbling down her cheeks.
Her dad came in.
“Dan told me.” He said, she just nodded and wiped a few tears away.
Her dad came and hugged her. “I know he was your friend, and he was a good man.”
“My life has been so hectic, I’ve been through the worst, I just never thought that it’d end. Daniel saved me but I never thought anyone would die.”
“You would never date Nick cause of his job, he took a risk and what’s important is that he was saving you and that’s what he thought was right.”
She nodded. “I suppose. I’ll miss him though.”
“Of course you will. I cannot wait to walk you down that aisle.” He smiled.
She smirked. “Getting rid of me so soon.”
“Well, I can’t handle both you and Daisy.”
Dan knocked on the door and came in.
“Your step-mum has been arrested.” He said.
Her dad looked a bit down. “I guess you never liked her anyway.”
“Dad, she did help out a bit but, she didn’t make us happy.”
He nodded, “Plenty more fish in the sea, I just have to divorce her.”
He got up to go out. “Dad, I’m sorry.”
“About what?”
“About dragging you and Daisy into this.”
“Don’t apologize, at least you’re happy.” He smirked and walked out.
Dan sat beside her.
“How’s the band?” She asked.
“They’re fine. How are you?” He replied.
