Chapter 165 - Long Explanations!

“Daniel wants us to meet him over at his place, so I’ll meet you outside after shopping alright?” Florence smiled.

“Who are you?” Dan’s mum looked slightly shocked.

“Florence Heathcliff, your soon to be daughter in law.” She nodded her head and wheeled her trolley off.

After half an hour they met at the door and then drove to Dan’s place.

Dan was waiting inside. Florence went to put all the shopping away whilst Dan talked to his mother.

“Hey mum, I’m sorry I haven’t seen you in a while.” Dan started.

“You’re engaged?” She seemed quite annoyed.

“Yes.”

“And you never thought to tell me.”

“Mum, it was up and down okay, basically we’ve liked eachother for ages and Florence has had a bad life so I had to get her out of prison a few times because of her abusive boyfriend that’s why I had to hold a gun cause I was saving her cause she got kidnapped and he shot me but I was fine cause I had a bulletproof vest on. Then everything kind of went crazy, we went to her parents they said yeah you can marry her then Kyle came and they used to know eachother so we split up but that was my fault. Then we were at court and Flo got breast cancer and we got back together then I went back to London and her step mum sent me letters and we split up again for a year where we both practically went crazy missing eachother. Kyle and Flo’s dad planned for her to surprise me at a concert and then her brother set us up and we got captured by the bad guys and then we escaped even though Flo got shot. Then we met Nick, he’s a police bloke, and saved her brothers family because they were being held captive and went back to Florence’s parents cause we were being searched for but her step mum is a traitor so we went on the run but Nick helped us out and put us in prison to keep us safe. Nick, the band and I saved her brother but Nick died. Life started to be a bit more normal despite Florence needing to go to the hospital again and she’s got anxiety too and I just realized how much has happened. That took like 7 minutes to explain. My throats dry!” Dan smiled at Florence.

Dan’s mother looked at both of them. “You’re actually serious.”

“Well I’d have to have quite an imagination to think all of that up!” Dan replied.

“I think you should’ve said we’ve been through a lot together. It would’ve been quicker!” Florence said.

“Why haven’t we met her sooner?” His mother asked.

“We haven’t had much time and I forgot.” Dan explained.
