They all walked out of the building laughing and talking.
John shuffled behind Florence. She turned.
“Hello brother.” She looked at John and smiled.
“I’m sorry.” He said quickly.
“I know and I have forgiven you, let’s just forget it now.”
John nodded.
“But you owe me big time!” Florence added laughing, John smirked.
Dan looked around and saw a black car. He wanted to resist the urge to confront Nick but he couldn’t, he approached the car.
“Nick!” He said knocking on the window smiling and waving.
The window slid down.
“Do you want your wife to kill me?” Nick replied.
“It’d be a joy to watch.” Dan said.
“Congratulations. What do you want?” He asked.
“I know.” Dan answered.
Nick didn’t look phased by this. He just stayed silent.
“Let’s go Agent.” Dan heard a woman’s voice.
“Ah, Mara.” A second window rolled down. A gun pointed at Dan.
“Wow, I think Florence might hate you a lot more if you did that.”
“She must never know.” Mara said.
“She always speaks so highly of you, I’d hate for her to be disappointed.” Dan said sharply.
“I did it to save her.”
“All I know is you left a little girl, to save yourself. Good day.” Dan nodded in respect and walked back to Florence.
“Who was that?” She asked.
“Reporter media people told them to leave us alone, in the nicest way possible.”
