Half way through their journey Dan started up conversation.
“Nice time at your parents?”
“Yes.”
“Daisy not too annoying.”
“No.”
“Parents not to annoying.”
“Slightly.”
“Food good?”
“Yes.”
“Miss me?”
“Yes.” She said.
“Well, I missed you being around too.”
“Found another girl yet?”
“What?”
“If dads right about musicians they find girlfriends easy.”
“Florence you know I’m still hung up on you.”
“Didn’t feel that way when you left.”
“You needed time away from me and Kyle.”
“I didn’t want you to leave.”
“You didn’t say that.”
“My heart did.”
“I wish I could hear your heart. Why did you want me to stay?”
“Because I missed you all week and, I cried a lot and my dad wasn’t so happy with me, or you.”
“It’s understandable. I wouldn’t like me either.”
“Don’t be hard on yourself; you’re too beautiful for that.” Florence replied smiling.
