“Let her go and I might not shoot you.”
Gav laughed.
“You think you’re all brave coming in here.”
“Kill me instead of her.”
“What?” He said.
“Kill me instead of her, please let her go.”
“No, no don’t hurt him, Dan shut up.”
“I know what I’m doing and I’d rather be the one to die than you.”
“But I can’t live without you; he might as well shoot both of us.”
“Maybe I will.” Gav said.
“SHUT UP!!!” Florence and Dan yelled at him. He stayed silent whilst they argued.
“Please don’t do this Dan.”
“You’ll hate me for it, I’m sorry.”
Gav untied her and she ran to Dan.
“You need to go now.” Dan whispered.
“Not without you.”
“Please, you’ll be free, I promised.”
She looked at him and kissed him on the lips quickly.
“I l…”
“I know.” Dan said and smiled at her.
She ran out the door and an officer appeared.
“Are you Florence Heathcliff?”
“Yes!” She was a bit speechless.
“You need to get in there he’s going to kill Dan.”
