I don't know that much about the Military Police so I had to do some research. I apologize if I did a bad job with the role of the Military Police.
And about the small, emerald bolo tie Erwin wears, Pixis and Dok wear one, too. So, I don't know if it's because they're commanders or if it's a friendship thing, lol. I'm just going to say that every commander has one.
------------------------------
You saw Titans approaching. Great. Right now you wished you were in the Survey Corps. You'd certainly have more skill with the creatures. But, no, you had to fight with firearms and rifles. That was great, right?
You did enjoy working with the Military Police, but when it came to titans, you didn't.
You had special permission to use the three-dimensional maneuver gear, though. You quickly put on the gear and got ready to fight the titans.
"Guys! Everyone has to evacuate the city!" You yelled.
"Commander (y/n), what about the titans?" Someone yelled back.
"Everyone, try to take down the titans! Except for Hemway, Chacon, Edge, Allen, Hux, Luna, and Holloway! If I said your last name, you help the citizens leave! Got it?" You kept your gaze on the titans.
Everyone nodded. You saw some people near the titans, using their gear. The Survey Corps.
You felt a bit relieved. You knew they could help with the titans. You grabbed a gun and aimed at a titan. You shot at it successfully, but it barely did anything. "Dang it." You muttered. "I guess I'll have to use the blades. It's been awhile since I have. This will be fun."
You used your gear to go behind a titan. You sliced the back of one's neck. One down, many more to go. You looked to your left and saw a titan trying to grab someone. You quickly went over there and went behind the titan. It turned around and tried to smack you. You unfortunately got hit.
The impact made you fall. You fell onto the ground with a thud. You groaned, using your arms to try and get up. You started getting up slowly. You looked behind you and saw the titan.
It was about to grab you. You tried to get up faster, but that seemed impossible. You heard a thud and saw the same titan on the ground. A man appeared in front of you. He had blonde hair that was neatly parted on the left side. He was crouching in front of you. You noticed he had icy blue eyes.
"Do you need some help?" He asked, holding out a hand for you to take. You nodded and took it. He pulled you up while he rose to his feet again.
"Thanks." You said. You saw he wore a small, emerald bolo tie around his neck. "Oh! You're Commander Erwin! Thank you for helping me. I guess I'll see you around."
"I guess you will." He replied, seeing your bolo tie. "I have to get back to the titans."
"Right. Good luck." You watched him go to a titan. Seeing you were a bit better now, you went to another titan. You used your gear to go on top of a house. You ran across the roof and jumped from it, hitting the neck while you fell.
You landed on your feet and watched the titan fall. That was the last one. You watched the Survey Corps leave and had a small smile on your face.

"That girl. . . She's the new commander for The Military Police." Erwin muttered to himself. "She's skilled with the gear, no doubt about it. But, why choose The Military Police? She has talent and would have been great in the Survey Corps." He shook his head. "No. . . She'd be a distraction."
He let out a sigh. "I'll see her again, I know that much. But, I have to focus."
--
You let out a sigh, smelling alcohol. Everyone here was always drinking and playing cards. You saw a group of soldiers sitting down. They were playing cards and drinking, just like you thought. You went over to them.
"Titans attacked today. Don't you think you should be more alert and, well, serious?" You asked, putting your hands on your hips.
One soldier laughed, looking up from his cards and meeting your gaze. "Be serious? We're behind the walls. Plus, if titans attacked, the Survey Corps would help. You saw them."
"I did and I know they won't always be there for us." You rolled your eyes. Why did you even go to The Military Police? Right, you thought it would be different. "We can't always hide behind the walls."
"Why not? They haven't failed us yet." Another soldier spoke up, obviously drunk, too.
"Yet. What about Wall Maria? No one thought it would fall and it did. We have to be more prepared. . . Scratch that, we have to be prepared." You frowned, crossing your arms. You turned around and walked away from them.
You heard them laughing again. Idiots. You decided to walk around. After a minute, someone yelled, "Commander (y/n)!" You turned around, curious. "The King said we have to assist The Survey Corps and Garrison in looking for two traitors that helped Annie Leonhardt. Eren Jaeger and Ymir were captured." A soldier said.
You nodded. "Thank you."
--
You had left Wall Sheena with the soldiers. You saw Commander Erwin. He glanced at you before saying, "The Garrison should go to the right along with The Military Police. The guns probably won't work with the titans.
So, if you see something, just shoot and we should be able to hear the noise. Some of you are able to use the gear and blades. Let's go!"
You nodded. "Alright, you heard him! To the right!" You commanded. The Military Police and Garrison went to the right. After an hour of looking, you all met up.
"Did you find anything, Commander Erwin?" You asked.
He shook his head, "No. Did you?"
"No. None of us did." You answered.
"We'll take a small break and then we'll keep looking." He said. You nodded. You all found a big tree to stay in while you were taking the break.
You sat down in it and let out a sigh. Erwin looked at you, "Why The Military Police?"
You looked back at him, surprised. "I. . . Thought it would be different. I didn't realize there would be drunk people and playing cards. I thought we'd defend the walls, not depend on them always. We collect taxes, too, and I hate it. I wanted to help people." You quietly said. Everyone was talking and not paying attention so it didn't matter what you said.
Erwin nodded. "You're very skilled with the gear."
"Yeah. . . I was ranked number one in training. I thought I made the right choice, I thought working with the king would be great. But, it's not. We can't really defend ourselves, you know that the guns don't really work." You sighed. "I wish I had chosen The Survey Corps."
"Me too. You would be great in it." He replied.
"Even if it was an option to switch, I couldn't. I'm the commander. . . I can't leave them alone." You bit your lip. "I told myself I wouldn't regret anything. That turned out well."
"(y/n), that's okay. Everyone has regrets. I told myself I wouldn't be distracted. That didn't happen." Erwin told you.
"What was your distraction?" You asked. "If you don't mind me asking, I mean." You had quickly grown feelings for him. It was hard not to.
"You." With that, he placed his lips on yours. You were surprised. But, you returned the kiss. You pulled away to catch your breath.
You smiled. "Maybe a distraction isn't so bad."
"It's not." He grinned and cupped your cheek. He kissed you again and you immediately kissed back.
