Skylar was walking home when she thought she saw a figure in the distance. She picked up her pace and walked faster. "Hey, Sky." A voice said. She blinked and saw Jean in front of her.

"Um, hello, Jean." She greeted.

"Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to, you know, go out to see a movie sometime." He smiled.

"Sorry, I'm not really. . Interested in you like that. . Can we just be friends?" She gave him an award-winning smile.

He blinked before he nodded. "Yeah, sure." The amber-eyed boy gave her a hug and waved before walking off.

The red-haired girl let out a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness he's still my friend.

She continued walking with her bookbag over her shoulder. She was holding her binder. The teal-eyed girl sat down on a bench and placed the binder beside her before unzipping her backpack and taking out her iPod and earphones.

She put in her earphones and selected Cemetery Drive by My Chemical Romance. She zipped up her backpack and slung it over her shoulder before grabbing her binder.

She started humming to the song before she started singing along. She felt herself be shoved to the side. Skylar braced herself for the impact. She felt something grab her by her elbow and pull her backwards so she was standing. She opened her eyes to see her friend, Eren, in front of her.

"Skylar, are you okay?" He asked.

She nodded, "Yeah. Thank you." She gave him a warm smile.

He nodded. "I'll walk you home. . Make sure that these idiots don't push you again." He spat.

She looked at him. "Eren, it's okay, really. I'm fine, see?"

Eren frowned. "Mm. Let's go. I'll help you get there safe."

"Eren, no. . You have to get home." Her expression showed concern.

"Don't be silly, Sky." He smiled.

She smiled back and nodded reluctantly. "Okay, let's go!"

Eren began walking beside the small girl. "You sing beautifully."

This made her blush. "Th-Thank you, Eren."

He nodded.

Thirty minutes later, Skylar arrived at the house.

"Thanks, Eren." She smiled and walked inside before closing the door.
Eren turned around and started walking home.

Jean will pay for asking her out and hugging her. .

Once he entered his room, he put his hands on the desk and started at it, full of anger.

"Eren?" Mikasa asked. He heard her footsteps come closer.

"What?" He asked.

"Are you okay?" She placed her hand on his shoulder.

"I'm fine." He snapped.
