Agad kong tinakbo ang sasakyan palabas ng capitol when i received a call from nanny beth telling me to go home. Manganganak na daw ang asawa ko. Mabuti na lang at pinipirmahan and nagrerevise lang ako ng mga projects and proposal that time so agad kong iniwan. My wife and child have to come first. Hindi ako mapakali sa sasakyan same feeling when she is in labor with Sander before. Halos sigawan ko pa ang driver ko dahil feeling ko ang bagal ng takbo ng sasakyan. And when i reached the house agad akong bumaba and tumakbo sa poolside. Alam ko kase na dun ang tambayan niya kapag ganitong oras. And im right i saw my PSG and my wife. Gising pa siya nung bumungad ako sa pinto pero nawalan na siya ng malay nung papalapit nako. Agad ko siyang binuhat and i tell nanny beth to prepared all the baby stuffs and sumunod na lang sa amin when she is done. I carry my wife hanggang sa kotse and agad kong pinatakbo. Feels like day bago namen marating ang ospital..my wife woke up nung isinakay na siya sa stretcher.
"Sandro..." she said while enduring the pain. I hold her hand and kissed it.
"Shhhh im here.. relax babe okay? Im here.." i said to calm her down.Agad na dumating ang ob-gyne niya and ang midwife para sa delivery niya. The midwife injected something on her back. Nagtaka ako when she fell asleep.
"Heyy doc, i thought my wife is in labor, bakit niyo ininjectan ng pampatulog??" I asked medyo nababadtrip ako ee.
"Relax Governor,sorry but we need to do a CS operation para mailabas ang bata. Baligtad ang position ng bata so we are afraid na hindi niya kaya inormal delivery and i dont wanna put your wife and child's life at risk Gov." The midwife told men i nodded. Kinakabahan ako na hindi ko maintindihan.
"Alright doc,just do everything to get my baby safe." I told her.. she nodded and proceed to the operating room. I keep on saying sorry for my baby girl na wala ako sa unang minuto and segundo niya sa mundo unlike her kuya Sander. Kase naman wrong position ang anak ko kaya her mom have to go on CS operation para mailabas siya. I asked my bodyguard to get my fone inside the car. Im sitting and waiting inside the visitors area..tinawagan ko sina Dad and Mom to infrom them about Akie's delivery nagkataon naman na nagbabakasyon sila dito so nasa malacañang of the north lang sila. I also call on for Simon to inform na dun muna sila sa bahay tumuloy and wait for us there na lang when Akie is okay na. Ive waited long hours gabi na ng lumabas ang ob-gyne and midwife ni Akela with a smile on their faces nawala ang kaba ko and nakahinga ako ng maluwag.
"Doc how's my wife and my baby?" I asked the midwife. She smiled at me.
"Congratulations Gov. Its a healthy baby girl and she looks exactly like her mom.." the midwife said. And with that my joy os beyond words. Same feeling when i saw Baby Sander on the first time and hear his cries...im a proud daddy of two cute angels now..Daddy Sandro MarcosAraneta 😍😍😍
